Plan that perfect Ozarks getaway at this spacious, lakefront home - perfect for a large family vacation or couples retreat! While you're set right on the lake for fishing, boating, and other watersports, this home is also less than 20 miles from a number of attractions including the Ozarks Amphitheater, the Lake Valley Golf Club, Ha Ha Tonka State Park, and the Big Surf Waterpark. You'll also be close to the seasonal boat races done at Captain Ron's, Home of the Shoot Out.

Visiting chefs will feel right at home in the well-equipped, island kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter seating for almost everyone in your group! In warm weather, indulge in alfresco meals outside on your furnished deck overlooking the water. Back indoors, meet up in either of two comfortable living areas complete with plush furnishings and TVs for streaming your favorite channels. You'll also find a poker table on the lower level ready for rainy day board games.

Additional features and amenities include a washer/dryer, cooling air-conditioning for summer days, a private dock, and a firepit for nighttime fun.

We highly recommend Shalonda for your visit. It is spacious, has well decorated rooms, two decks, on the waterfront, and great views. Missed not having an outdoor grill.

Beautiful Place to Stay

The house is beautiful and you can’t beat the view! The kitchen is a nice size and has a lot of pans for cooking, bowls for leftovers, and a variety of utensils. The fridge is a bit quirky. The bed in the first floor bedroom may be better suited for children or small adults. The decks are perfect for morning coffee, and the dock and slide made for a fun swimming experience. Loved our stay!

House was well kept and very neat. Plenty of room to relax and unwind next to the lake. Lots of stairs to the dock but no issues. Great place to enjoy a great weekend and sleep well in nice beds.

Great home

My family and I spent a week at the home. We had a great time. The home is well appointed and the pictures are exactly like the place was. We hung out at the dock and swam, fished and relaxed.

True Vacation for me and my family

Perfect for family - lots of space to enjoy without always having to be on top of each other. The decks on both levels were large and very accommodating - not to mention provided a great view. Also, in addition to a beautiful, comfortable, updated interior, the location was very private - allowing for true relaxation. We all said we would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed the privacy of this home and having our private dock. There seemed to be a lot of dog hair in the master suite and lots of dead bugs inside the home. We understand the home was pet friendly and it is at the lake. We enjoyed our stay and will look to see if this home is available the next time we return.

Relaxing Get-A-Way

My family and I had a wonderful time relaxing and getting away from the world after Christmas. The home was spacious and comfortable, providing enough room for us to relax together or have some solitude. The beds were comfortable and facilitated a good night's rest. The kitchen provided everything we needed to cook meals. We also enjoyed paying games on the gaming table together. If we ever return to the area, we'd definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

Overall the stay was great! We had plenty of space for all 9 of us, kitchen was great and fit everyone in it. Plenty of cooking tools, bakeware, plates, etc which was very handy. Place was clean when we got here, air was on which was nice. Only thing is I’d recommend having more toilet paper on hand and there was no laundry detergent, but we had everything else we needed. The freezer had lots of ice in it which also was very handy, dock was nice and had life jackets and pool noodles. We had a great time and all plan on coming again.

Great location and nice house

There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. I think it would have been crowded with 10 people. It's not on the main channel so swimming was fun and not a challenge. There are plenty of pans, dishes, utensils for whatever you might want to cook. The view from the deck was beautiful and there is plenty of seating on the lower deck. There are plenty of nearby restaurants.

Beautiful home, view but very poor parking.

Home was beautiful. However not everything worked as advertised. Very poor parking, very deep loose rock, had to call tow truck to get me out. Not happy! The view of the lake was beautiful.

Was not impressed wit the cleaning of this home I cleaned all the counters an floors shortly after we got there the fridge leaked an the temperature whent clear up to 55°2 hours after we got there an the freezer went clear up to 12°

Missing some "key" features-

We of course loved seeing the lake and the dock of this house This was the only VRBO house in 15 years we have stayed at that refused to give us a key to the property and made us deal with a difficult to use front door entry system- it sucked! We also requested early check-in and were denied despite multiple requests- this despite staying an extra day to give more money to the owners The owners do not "get it"

Unclean Home, Kitchen refrigerator does not work!

The house was not clean at all. Poop smeared on the downstairs bathroom cabinet. Someone elses dirty clothes were shoved in a drawer with the extra blankets. White stuff was smeared all over the kitchen chairs and windows. Spiderwebs in the kitchen. The kitchen refrigerator is broken and does not properly cool. It leaked water in the floor our whole stay. The control panel for it is held on with duct tape. When reporting our issues I had a representative call me lazy for not wanting to have to carry our food up and down stairs to a 2nd fridge the homeowners had given us permission to use because they refused to allow maintenance to replace the fridge. They had also known for over 2 weeks the refrigerator was broken and didn't even have the courtesy to communicate this with us before we arrived. Wifi was extremely spotty and only one tv worked. Furniture is not in the best shape. One of the kitchen chairs is going to end up breaking with someone in it. The recliners are broken and make you feel like you're going to fall backwards if you try to recline them. House cleaning was supposed to come back to reclean after we reported multiple issues but they never showed up.
