Very nice and cozy apartment part of traditional old Norwegian house. With its own private entrance on the ground floor beautifully located with a view over Jølstravatnet on Helgheim. It is perfect for a family or group of 5 people on a trip. A perfect place to recharge your batteries and enjoy the great natural views around.
The space
The House is located right by the E39 with full view to Jølstravatnet with its own road and parking and access to bike path, where you can cycle far by jølstravatnet, at the back of the house there is large plot with a view to the waterfall from the mountain where you can enjoy the sun and play with children.
The area abounds with mountains with fantastic views that can be visited both on foot in the summer and with skis in the winter. the area is convenient for nice tours in the mountains with beautiful nature. There are also good fishing opportunities in Jølstravatnet. Art gallery and local jeweller in local area. The area is one of the most beautiful in Norway with glaciers such as Supphellebreen, a glacier center in Fjærland. Experience the fjord villages Olden, Stryn, Balestrand m.m. Loen Skylift, lifts you from the fjord in Loen to the mountain Hoven at 1100 m.o.h. The track is one of the steepest in the world. Beautiful valleys and mountains to walk in. 18 minutes by car to Jølster Skisenter, and 47-50 minutes by car to Sogndal Skisenter Hodlekve. Opportunities for cross-country skiing both in Årdal (approx. 15 minutes by car) and at Jølster Ski Center, rafting in Jølstra and golf in Sunnfjord Golf's beautiful courses along the Jølstra river. 5 min by car to grocery stores Joker, Coop, petrol station, and car charging station, mini bank, Audhild Viken souvenir shop :), the bus stops right by the property from and to most of Norway (Helgheim bus stop).
Ideal starting point for day trips to Fjærland and the Norwegian Bremmuseum (30 minutes), Briksdal and Briksdalsbreen (1 hour) and Geiranger (4 hours). About 20 min drive to Astruptunet, which is located in idyllic surroundings on the south side of Jølstravatnet. Here you will find the home of the painter, illustrator and graphic artist Nikolai Astrup who is one of Norway's most famous national artists. Nearby you can rent a boat and kayak.
In the apartment there is Entrance with small storage room and the kitchen with fridge / freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and kitchen equipment, kettle. In the kitchen there is a coffee table and a double door that opens to the living room where there is a cozy sofa and fireplace with dining table, there are also 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, if it is booked for 5 people we can have a mattress topper on the sofa for one person. Bathroom there is washing machine and dryer, shower cubicle, sink, and toilet, heated floor.
The apartment is with electricity, and cold / hot water and internet and garden furniture, windows are towards Jølstravatnet views. the outside area is free space for the guests to share with others :)

You have the entire apartment with wifi and access to shared areas in the plot outside and parking

-Final cleaning can either be done by thre guest or to be paied to the host 60 Eur.
On the ground floor there is two apartments for rent, one is yours. On the second floor there are 8 rooms for rent.
-In the apartment there are stairs as in the picture there is a locked door (from both sides) that separates the apartment from the rest of the house.
-the property is by the road so you can expect traffic noise during day time .
