In retrospect we should have asked to see this room before accepting the upgrade and felt that we should have been notified in...

"Had a wonderful time at this beachfront property in Putzu Idu. Perfectly located—just a short walk to the main sandy beach, S'Architteddu, and only a short drive to S'Anea Scoada and Sa Mesa Longa. Quiet, yet close to the local conveniency store and a short walk (on the beach) to the best restaurant in the area. Mario and Francesco are great hosts, always ready to help."

"Lovely situation, overlooking the river and with restaurants and shops in the street just behind. Staff were not very friendly - reception was very businesslike and the cleaner complained at 9.10am that we were still in the room and would not be able to come back later to clean the room! Staff at breakfast were very slow to respond to our requests. No parking outside on a busy street, so we had to drop our bags off and look for parking elsewhere, which worked reasonably well. "My son enjoyed our stay in this calm oasis in the middle of nowhere. We actually just stayed put for the two nights and went nowhere. Enjoyed the pool. My son loved playing with the cats. The set dinner included in our stay (a fish and a meat option) was amazing on both evenings and their own wine was very enjoyable. I was disappointed we couldn’t buy any to take home. Would definitely recommend this place and would next time take a trip to the coast as beach is meant to be amazing. "

"Beautiful seaside hotel, charming decor and staff. Walked to delicious restaurant for dinner and watched the sunset. The public beach across the street was clean and had chairs and umbrellas to rent if desired. My only issue is perhaps a personal preference which was the bed was too firm."

"Vista room was perfect, if you don’t mind stairs. We loved opening the curtain in the morning to a view of colorful houses and the castle. The hosts were very friendly and offered great advise on restaurants. We’ll be back!"
