"This location was a dream over the July-4th holidays. The house is even more charming and well appointed than pictured. The pool was the perfect temperature. The dock access and provided crabbing equipment were a major highlight. The home is delightful, well designed, and very clean. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The sweet bunny rabbits in the yard, fireflies, and the vast starry nights only added to the true retreat feel this place offers. Such a great place!"

There was a very nice swimming pool on the property and play area for small kids. I highly recommend this property for an enjoyable vacation."

"What a wonderful cottage! I stayed a week in July, while taking a sailing class with the Annapolis Naval Sailing Association in nearby Galesville. The only potential drawback is lack of central AC, but I ALWAYS felt very cool and comfortable thanks to all the window units. The king(!) bed is super comfy, and I loved spending time on the porch, living room and dock - all very lovely spaces. The neighbors are friendly, host super-helpful, and sunsets AMAAAAAZING. Looking forward to staying here...

"This property was exactly what we were looking for in our weekend stay visiting our Midshipman. The cottage was only a 30 min drive to the Yard and provided a peaceful retreat from the hussle/bussle of DTA. The cottage offered expansive water views and the outdoor space/dock was perfect for watching the boats and wildlife. The kitchen was amply stocked formour needs and the beds were comfy. Thanks for an excellent weekend, we plan to come back!"

"This was a great little getaway! The property was very accurate to the listing, and everything was very clean and tidy. We cooked a bit at the house and it had all the pots/pans/utensils we needed. The beach across the street is quite nice, and it's a short drive to Calvert Cliffs State Park. Would definitely recommend this VRBO!"

We loved the view, the cool breezes on hot days, the daily entertainment from a variety of birds: osprey, great blue heron, white heron, egrets, etc. We plan to definitely go back.
