"This off-grid property was perfect for a weekend visit with my daughter. The off-grid set up of straw bale house, solar panels, well, wood stove was fascinating. The cabin was clean and cozy and Jared was quick to respond when we had a little battery trouble. I will definitely rent again! "

"What an adorable property! We arrived late evening but check in was a breeze and I couldn’t stop carrying on about how cute this small space was. Great for singles or couples. A short walk to Black Hills State University where we watched our boys run track. My favorite thing about Spearfish has got to be the rec walking paths. "The house was exactly as described. We were notified of the construction next door but it was never a problem. We never heard the workers. We would stay there again. One suggestion is provide coasters for glasses to protect the furniture."

"Great little property for hotel alternative. Location is awesome. Walkable to downtown as well as lots of trails around the river that runs through town. Clean and quiet. Plus they let our dogs stay with us. A must for us. Thank you!"
