We were blessed to be able to stay at this property for several nights. The property is an impeccably restored home where the attention to detail with all the amenities, supplies and furnishings mangled our experience wonderful. We will most definitely be back and will seek out this property again!
We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home nestled in a beautiful historic neighborhood. It was our home base for a long weekend celebrating our youngest child’s 30th birthday by touring Charleston. Tranquil and yet convenient.
We were in Summerville for a wedding. The VERBO was easy to find and a charming place! It was cold out so we didn't enjoy the porch like we wanted to but it was a great place to stay! We were kept busy the whole time we were there!
We loved the area: convenient to Azalea Park, Downtown Shops and Restaurants! We also loved the spaciousness and coziness of the house. The only thing I would suggest is to add blinds to the kitchen and front rooms windows! I would recommend it to family and friends!
We loved the house, the location and especially the porch. We had a wonderful time in the area and can't wait to come back. Our hosts were amazing and very kind.
We had friends visiting from NYC who stayed at the house. They absolutely enjoyed this beautiful historical home in the historic neighborhood of Summerville.
Beautiful, well kept home in Historic Summerville.
We had a wonderful stay, the porch is amazing.
They had bicycles that we used every morning.
Will definitely stay there again when we are back in Summerville, SC.
We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay for the weekend. I selected this home because it had plenty of rooms and bathrooms but it had so much more! It was beautiful both inside and out! It was clean, spacious, and so relaxing! Coming back to this space after a long wedding day was exactly what we needed! This space is in a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for just enjoying each other’s company! We would definitely stay here again!
Delightful , clean , plenty of space and a glorious porch ! Communication was prompt and so helpful. Better than expected in every way!

I stayed with 4 of my college girl friends. Beautifully furnished 3 full baths were a real extra. 2 on main floor with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and 2 twin beds upstairs. Enjoyed Coffee on the porch each morning and card games each night in dining room,
An earlier review said the stairs were steep I totally disagree the stairs were wide and well lit. Easy to find home lots of parking. Will stay there again. Great place for adult gathering.
This was a beautiful home, lots of character. We felt very comfortable staying there. The neighborhood was very quiet. Host was very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.
Absolutely one of the best VROB we ever stayed at. Immaculate, tasteful, many thoughtful touches. Great location to center of Summerville. Host excellent response to any questions. We plan to stay here again.
The coziest historic cottage, the entire place was so clean and well decorated . The location is very convenient near downtown summerville with so much to do. The owners are very friendly and nice and are very helpful and have great communication. It was perfect for my bridal party to spend quality time together and get ready.
This home is beautiful! Nestled in a beautiful little community along a tree lined street. This old house sheltered us from a storm allowing us to feel completely safe as the weather outside raged. We enjoyed several evening sitting out on the front porch just taking in the beauty of the area. It is also located very close to the downtown area that has lots of neat shops and things to do. Ms Jane was a pleasure to deal with on anything we had a question about. I highly recommend! On a side note, these were some of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in at a rental property!
This cottage was perfect for our family gathering. It is located in the historic district of Summervile and close to Charleston in a beautiful neighborhood. The landscaping is awesome with birds chirping, smells of blooming flowers and rocking chairs on the big porch. The kitchen was great and the historic character added to the cozy feel of the house. It was very roomy and comfortable. We can’t wait to go back.
Jane was very responsive. The property is beautiful. Great location, many good restaurants close by, grocery stores and not too far from downtown Charleston. We would stay again. If I had any advice (and it wasn’t a huge deal) would be to add an additional tv so a family can divide if needed and not be on top of each other the entire stay 🙂
