"Exactly what we were looking for! The Shire was perfect spot for our quick family get away. Close to everything but entertainment right on site. Kayaking the river - finding the old dam/waterfall, saw wildlife (deer, geese), fishing, ending the day in the hot tub then dinner around the fire. Holly was great help with ideas for entertaining a 14 yr old and things to do. Highly recommend!"

"Enjoyed our stay at Tiny Bear Paw! Perfect for a couple just looking for a quiet place to stay. Clean and well equipped with more than a normal rental. The bed was extremely comfortable (which is a big deal to me!) Would definitely stay here again. Of note, our GPS was off slightly and told us we had arrived at the location but we were not. "We had a wonderful stay at The Garden Cottage. It certainly lives up to its name! We loved walking the property and seeing the beautiful plants and a little wildlife. The location is excellent because it is close to town, Brow Park (gorgeous sunsets!!), and DeSoto Park. The cottage itself is adorable and the perfect size. "My husband & I along with another couple stayed in The Outlook from Friday to Sunday. It was the perfect place! We loved the house, the location, the amenities, the cleanliness and the decor. We hope to visit again! As for Mentone, the shops were fun to visit & see all the creativity and arts. The Wildflower Cafe is a MUST as well as The Hatter. "I really enjoyed staying here! I decided to come by myself and just get some peace, quiet, and relaxation. It was very comfortable. Loved the shower. A few Japanese beetles decided to come in, but no big deal as I get them sometimes at my home. Cell service is spotty, but to be honest....it was actually a blessing to be able to kind of disconnect. I will definitely be re-booking here in the near future! Thank you guys so much!"
