Relax by the lakeside as you grill your catch of the day and watch the sunset as it fades into starlight while gathered around our fire pit. The Santee National Wildlife Refuge is just 1/2 mile by boat and is also easily accessible via car, by bike or hiking trails. Five golf courses and shopping helps keep your vacation options open. Great stay!
My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The house is very spacious and was plenty of room for our group of 4 couples and kids. We rented David's boat and he gave us lots of great local tips. Overall, a great stay and we would be happy to stay at this location again!

Management Retreat, perfect place
I rented this property to have a strategic planning session with my Command Staff. This property was a perfect combination of work space with plenty of opportunity for relaxation in our down time. The lake access is wonderful and the next time we will definetly take a boat. I highly recommend this location for business or family.

GREAT VACATION RENTAL!!!
Our family rented this house this past wk & enjoyed it very much!! The lake (beach) area was awesome and NO SHELLS on lake floor to hurt your feet while in the water! That was a huge plus for us!!! Loved the location & having our own boat ramp was also a plus! We hope to rent this house again next yr!

Plenty of comfy room
This place is so much bigger than you think from the pictures or even when you first pull up. Most of the windows are selling the front so you can see the water all through out. This is an ideal space for a big group. Mainly because there’s plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. There’s also plenty of stretch out And play games room. We loved it!

Family vacation at Santee
Great location on lake. Good access to fishing and family boat rides. House very clean and private with fully gated property. Beds slept well and good cooking products to use. If only one negative is pantry storage for big family for a week there is none. Had to leave our storage bins under table for non perishable food but 2 refrigerators was nice touch. Beautiful and quiet location and neighbors seem very friendly. Thanks for the use of you home

Had a great time with friends. Plenty of rooms. I wish i would hace read more of the details. There is also a pontoon you can rent at a three minimum. We'll go back for sure.

We had a great time at the lake. We stayed a week. Plenty of rooms for us. Bath towels were provided. All appliances worked. The only complaint I have is there wasn’t enough or any pantry space for all our lake snacks for the kids!!! The dock had been recently redone and was in excellent shape. Loved the beach area for hanging out when not on the boat. Thanks again for a great time!!

The property was even better than we expected! We spent Christmas week with family and had absolutely everything we needed. The temps outside were below 20 which is unheard of in SC and we had no issues with the house being warm! David was very responsive to messages, which I really appreciated! You will not be disappointed!

Great spot with plenty of room!
This was just what our extended family needed for an early holiday celebration with nearby family members. Bed linens and bathrooms were extremely clean, and extra pillows & blankets were provided in the master closet. You'll need to bring your own toiletries for showers. One set of remote controls for 2 TVs and a little difficult to navigate; master TV kept cutting off the 2nd night, but not a huge deal. Overall, common area inside was larger than expected and the house is in a great location for what we needed. We would definitely consider renting this one again.

New Years Getaway
Our family always goes out of town to different properties around the start of the new year. This property was our latest stay and one of our favorites. The property was very clean and had plenty of room for our group of 10. My father has trouble walking and the fact that this property was so flat leading to the dock allowed him to be able to enjoy being on the dock with everyone. The only complaint was that the water level was extremely low around the dock. This is because of the time of year and was no fault of the owners. We were still able to catch a few fish at night: The two refrigerators are a great idea for larger groups and the openness of the house makes it perfect for families.

Family Reunion
We had 11 people staying in ths home. We came from Virginia, Georgia, and SC. This home fit us pefectly! 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms provided all we needed. The living area was spacious, and we were not crowded at all while we were inside. The kitchen had everything we needed. Several cooks were in kitchen preparing meals. So much work space, it was not a problem. 2 fridges was so nice! We all enjoyed the porch, with the gas fire heater. Kids fished off dock, parents sat in chairs on beach, enjoying the beautiful weather. Our big family reunion was at Santee State Park. Although it wasanot real close, it was an easy drive. I looked at many houses before renting tthis one, and so glad I did. It was so clean, and just perfect!

Got to the house and when entering was surprised by the open concept and how big a space we had. Kitchen was wide open and very functional (lots of pots and pans and utensils) two frdges wa a big plus! Everything was very clean and well equiped with plenty blankets, sheets and towels. The back porch was great (I would recommend bringing lawn chairs. What they have lean back a little too much for conversations. Loved the firepit! The best thing about the place in my opinion though is the veiw and the dock. Great dock with fish cleaning station and electricity to charge batteries on boat! Lots of lights keep it well lit and user-friendly any time day or night. Short boat trip (less than 2 min) to open area which is great to see incredible sunsets! We will be going back next year for sure!

Perfect for a Family Getaway!
David was the perfect, responsive host during our trip planning. We had no issues once we arrived at the property. This property had plenty of room for part of our large family. (We also rented the sister property). The two refrigerators in the kitchen meant there was plenty of room for all the food we brought. The two separate dining tables and the openness of the kitchen and living area meant that we weren't' tripping over each other. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with pots, pans, colanders, waffle maker and more as well as utensils and spices (not just salt and pepper). There was nothing we needed that was not available and we prepared all of our meals at the house. Everything was clean. Even though it was cold outside - we had no issues keeping warm inside! I'm sure it would be even better in the summer because the dock, boat ramp, and beach area were perfect for family fun in the water! The porch, dock, and chairs at the beach were perfect for sitting and enjoying the sunsets. Beautiful!!
