"Our two-night stay in Sulmona could not have been better. This six-room hotel, run by two brothers, is modern, clean, convenient to the center, and comfortable (great bed). The hotel was fantastic. The town of Sulmona felt completely abandoned. Many stores are closed. The valley is beautiful but unkept. The ruling class has not given the town the value it deserves. There is no police around town after hours.
