"We spent a week in early September (three friends) and couldn't ask for a more pictoresque and relaxing place. The house is spacious, clean, and refreshing in its simplicity. "We stayed in Stephanie's house for 14 nights. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed. Great outdoor areas with a lovely large balcony with fantastic views and a rear garden with a gas BBQ and lovely peaceful dining area. Ofena is a typical, unspoilt Italian village with friendly locals and a super friendly village dog. We immediately felt relaxed, despite probably being the only tourists there. "very nice vertical house in center of old town. great location near restaurants and coffee shops. very clean. easy access and departure. not a property for people who struggle with stairs. hot water in showers is a little tricky. shower in one of the bathrooms needs a door, and washing machine could use some written instructions. overall, we enjoyed it, and recommend it with the few caveats already mentioned."

"A friend and I stayed in this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom flat for a couple of weeks. It is very clean and has everything needed for light cooking. During the day, the neighborhood is quiet but comes alive in the evenings when everyone is outside for the passegiata. There are a number of bars to enjoy for your morning coffee or aperitivo in the evenings. A local favorite shop just around the corner, Antichi Sapori, has quality prosciutto, salume and cheeses. "Cerco un difetto, ma non ne trovo. L'appartamento è pulito, funzionale, dotato di tutto. In posizione ideale per visitare Sulmona e dintorni. L'assenza dell'ascensore, in fin dei conti è una buona occasione per tenersi in esercizio. Lo raccomando senz'altro."
