"The property is excellent and one of the best place to see the mighty sleeping buddha formation while sipping your morning coffee from the comfort of your balcony. If your goal is to watch the Kanchenjunga throughout the day then this hotel should be your choice as it provides better views than even the famous batasia loop. Pros: Furniture and fittings are of the highest quality Views of Kanchenjunga from the balcony (check with reception before booking) In house restaurant provides tasty vegetarian food Cons: There is no hotel frontage, so getting up and down from the cab is a bit of a hassle and needs to be done in a hurry 20 min uphill walk to the mall. Cabs charge whatever they want. Suggestion: The hotel has everything that one wants in Darjeeling except for the access to the mall, if a free shuttle can be arranged at regular intervals to ferry hotel guests uphill, it will be a huge improvement. Coming downhill isn't a problem. *The water pressure in the rain showers inside the washroom is one of the best I have seen in a hotel in India "

"Sinclares Resort is such a gem! The entire property is meticulously maintained and nicely decorated with beautiful landscaping. The premium room is spacious and bedding is clean and comfortable. They provide you with a heater during winter time so the room is plenty warm. The best part is the hot shower which is so much better compared to other equally expensive hotels we stayed across India. You can take a really comfortable shower without worrying about the hot water running out in the middle of the shower which happened to us in other hotels. Also, you won’t get bored just staying in the hotel because there are many things you can do, from badminton court to ping pong table, to spa service. The food is excellent and thoughtfully prepared. Needless to say the mountain view is spectacular. What’s even better than the view is the staff in the resort. From reception to restaurant, everyone greeted us with excellent services and care. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken good care of. They truly made us feel at home. I’d like to express my appreciation to Gautam, Koushik, Swastik, Saurav, Shovan, Subrata, and Ankita for making our stay a memorable experience. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who plan to visit Kalinpong."

"Very good hotel, the rooms are beautiful, and the view over the mountains are incredible. Beds are comfy, the bathroom is good and there is a nice breakfast. Location is not the most convenient, it's along the main road in middle Pelling, the restaurants tend to be more in upper Pelling although all hotels have their own restaurants. Then again Pelling is basically just a long road on the flank of the mountain with only hotels along the road. Not much to the place apart from the views of the mountains (so consider not spending too much time there and instead making you way to more pleasant little towns of Sikkim)"
