"Very nice view of the lake. Very helpful staff. The rooms have a private onsen hot tub on the balcony. The rooms have tatami and are set up to sleep on the floor. You can request a bed frame to elevate the futon, but it's better to request a bed when making the reservation (although you may enjoy sleeping on a futon, Japanese style)."

"This is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are a little dated by current standards but the view and the staff make up for that. The dining experience was great and the hostess was so helpful and genuine. The food was excellent. We when on the morning cruise with departed from the lakefront of the hotel. The hotel provides a breakfast bento to eat while you cruise. So happy we stayed here. "

"The pictures do not convey how beautiful this place is. It has been renovated and modernized and was a pleasure to stay at. You need to take a taxi to get here from the train station, but it is well worth the extra drive. Spotlessly clean. The designer did an impeccable job, with every detail taken into account. Incredibly warm and cozy and comfortable in every way. The neighbors are very kind, and it is very quiet. A nice relaxing neighborhood to stay at. Food needs to be brought in, or taxi...
