It’s in a private area with gate system which gives a very secure feeling although being in a sleepy village there wasn’t any cause for worry. parking space for 2 cars. We were glad of the airco in the dining area as temperatures got quite high in the afternoon/evening. "L'Audacieuse is quite comfortable, although its position does mean it isn't very relaxing. It's on a busy road & below the flight path for Strasbourg airport. It would have been good to have a better equiped kitchen in particular. More cutlery, glasses and mugs would have been good; especially with the dishwasher, we had to wash by hand regularly. "We stayed at La Distillerie for four nights and loved every second. We started our days by walking to the U supermarket for our baguette, through the vineyard, after coffee of course. Sitting out in the private garden was a delight. Especially in the evenings with a glass of vino. The location was great. The train station, just one minute away, got us to Strasbourg via rail, we drove everywhere else."
