Can you imagine just sitting on the large deck and taking in a serene mountain view or pristine local golf course, amazed by the wonderful starry night sky, lounging by the fire next to your friends and family, or taking in the local ATV trails? Welcome to Off course where this dream can be reality. This newly built 5-bedroom lodge is perfectly located within the Apple Springs subdivision between Sturgis and Deadwood right next to one of the Par 3 holes at the Boulder Canyon Country Club. You'll be in the heart of the Black Hills recreational corridor just 8 miles from Deadwood and local restaurants/casinos/nightlife, and grocery stores. You're even just 15 minutes over to Spearfish Canyon with its amazing fly fishing for trout, windy scenic drives and waterfall views, and easy access over to Spearfish. You're also just an hour's drive from major attractions like Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, Black Elk Peak (previously Harney Peak), and more!

Whether you're planning to visit the area for some peace and quiet, a golf vacation, local trail riding, skiing at Terry Peak, some nights in Deadwood enjoying the food and casinos, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, or a National Park tour, a stay at Off Course will make for a perfect place to settle in.

After your adventurous days, coming home to your own serene getaway is sure to be the best part of your vacation. With over 3300 sq. ft. of living space and large deck with a view, there's plenty of space to spread out for your group of up to 18 family/friends/colleagues. Inside you'll find a great room with floor-to-ceiling windows looking over a beautiful Black Hills view. There's also a gas fireplace and internet connected TV there in the living room. The living area seamlessly connects to the open well-stocked kitchen and dining area, making it great for entertaining and making meals. Upstairs there's a loft complete with a seating area with wall-mounted TV, along with built-in bunk bed. There's 2 bedrooms upstairs as well just off the loft. As you head to the lower level, you'll find 2 more bedrooms, a cozy living area with TV and fireplace and a walk-out to the covered patio with a spacious hot tub!

You'll also have a 2-stall garage you get access to, and enough parking for several trailers in the spacious driveway.

We had a wonderful stay.
Enjoyed this property with family. Lots to do around in the area. Very well stocked, even with towels for the hot tub. Needs some grass around the place yet.

Black Hills Vacation
Wonderful property for vacation with family and/or friends. The house is top-notch with terrific views of the surrounding mountains, adjacent golf course, and plenty of deer walking through the neighborhood. Our group enjoyed the close proximity to local area attractions, especially the town of Deadwood!

We had the BEST stay at your beautiful home! We felt like we stayed in paradise - everything was so clean and spacious! The rooms were so comfortable - everyone had everything they needed! We stayed with 14 family members and every person had more than enough space to feel comfortable. We spent the evenings on the patio and it was so very relaxing. The surrounding homes on this golf course are so beautiful, it made entering into the neighborhood feel so welcoming. The entire process of booking, communicating with the owners, checking in/out - was all so easy. We loved the house so much and had such a great experience that the family is planning on doing it again next year! We hope to be back at this house again soon! Thank you so much!

My sister and I hosted a bachelorette party in the hills and these accommodations were perfect. The location was a great middle ground for going to deadwood and also a quick trip to Rapid for the day. Amenities were top notch and we even got the privilege of seeing the northern lights off the deck two nights we stayed. Bunks are shorter than I expected and recommend those being only for kids. But we were able to fit 12 adults comfortably with room to spare!

I loved that our room had a king bed and bunk beds for the kids. You could easily have a larger group. Thoughtful touches like snuggle blankets we could use while sitting on the couch for movie night. There was fireplace to enjoy if visiting during the winter. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck every night. Plenty of patio furniture for all. The kids spent most nights in the hot tub. We played golf- the course was beautiful. There was a nice smoker on site we used for ribs one night. It is very close to Deadwood so we went gambling and shopping. Close enough that we also visited Bear Country and Mount Rushmore. The only downside was we had to leave. Great vacation lodge and location. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. Excellent spot to just enjoy family and nature.

Beautiful Vacation Home
We absolutely loved our stay and plan to be back next year! The views were amazing and the house was clean and decorated/furnished perfectly to give you that modern South Dakota feel! We saw deer everyday roam the property. The house is located in perfect distance to Sturgis, Deadwood and Lead. The owner was amazing and communicated quick and professional! Thank you for one of the best vacations! We highly recommend this home!
