"I absolutely love staying at Essenhaus. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very polite. I feel safe there being a single woman traveling alone. They had nice choices for breakfast. I love the Essenhaus. I was very excited to eat at Das Dutchman and went for an early dinner 3pm. I desided to have the menu dinner. I stood waiting to be seated about 10min. There were maybe 6 people eating, very slow. I was finally seated. I had a very polite young man as a waiter. I had 2 wheat rolls that were very dry. I ordered Chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes w/green beans. The green beans had no flavor and woody pieces. The noodles and chicken tasted old and had no flavor. The mashed potatoes were good. I had banana cream pie to go. The pie was old and had a wet bottom crust. I was so dissapointed. Ive had all these foods before and i know how they should taste. I was so tired from my trip i just left. I didnt see how saying anything would have helped. I wont eat there ever again."
