"Sadly I had to cut my two-night stay short due to impending bad weather and icy roads. The location is a bit remote, but the facility is comfortable and scenic. My room was charming and the continental breakfast very nice. I will definitely return in the summer."

"The cabin has a great layout, with a fantastic open kitchen for cooking and socializing. The owner made some thoughtful seasonal touches, to make the space inviting as well upon arrival. We were able to set up in the backyard on a clear night and take some astrophotography in addition to enjoying the large bon fire pit. It's also just up the road from the city of sandstone, and Banning State Park which has lots of great hiking trails, the Kettle River, and some waterfalls. Would definitely book again and for a longer stay next time!"

"It’s a nicely kept and furnished cottage on a pond in a like in God’s country. We stayed there while the leaves changed and it was a perfectly cozy cabin after days in the woods or in Duluth. Perfectly quiet and beautiful trip, plan on staying again."

"The service and friendliness of the gentleman checking us in was great. The room however was very dirty. The shower curtain was moldy and stinky. There was makeup all over 2 of my 3 pillows and there were dead bugs on the floor in the bathroom and by the tv. There was a construction crew staying there and blasted the music in their car, right outside our window until after 2 am. "
