"We returned to the cottage after our first stay last year because it was so lovely and comfortable. This time we also used the cottage next door for our grandchildren, who absolutely loved it. The cottage itself is in a great rural location but nevertheless only 10 mins drive from a supermarket and Freshwater Bay if you need a takeaway or food. It's also just a quarter of a mile from a bus-stop to Newport in one direction and Yarmouth in the other (if you don't have a car) so therefore ideal...

"Stayed at this property for a week. It is just on the edge of shanklin old village. Plenty of pubs and restaurants in walking distance. Cottage is a good size. 3 good size bedrooms. The owner Jill greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend to friends "

"The cottage is beautiful and cozy and the grounds are lovely. We walked out of the front gate and directly across the lane into the forest shared with horses. When we drove into the property when we first arrived, we were greeted by about 40 beautiful deer. The location is awesome with a short walk to an old cozy lovely pub and a bit longer walk into Lyndhurst and the forest entrance right across the lane. It was so peaceful and quiet. We did a lot of cooking and the cottage had everything...

"We had a lovely stay at Shepherds Barn, we went for the Goodwood horse races and because of its location, the property was perfect for us. Everything was really clean and in great condition. "We had a great stay at this property in Everton. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. The garden was a lovely bonus for our little one to play outside. It is a good central location in the New Forest if you have a car to get around. Nearby places that were close to travel to include Christchurch, Lymington, Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst."

"The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable short stay with our children. I had a welcome text to check everything was ok, so nice to know someone was at the end of the phone should we need. Good base location situated on the grounds of The Garlic Farm and the shop, restaurant, cafe and games room all came in handy. Parking was easy too. Short drive from Ryde ferry port and Sandown beach. We also had a lovely meal at the recommended The Pointer Inn pub down the road....
