"My wife and I were looking for a place to get away from the hustle. Orcas Island and particularly the Madrona Suite were just what we were looking for. The studio is spacious for two and very comfortable. The view out the large picture window is wonderful. There is wifi but no TV, which was fine with us. "The room was brand new and in perfect condition. We enjoyed the common area with the ability to grab a morning coffee and as well do some laundry. The suite in the perfect location to explore Friday Harbor on foot. Would recommend, especially for larger groups as you can book multiple rooms and enjoy the common areas together! "

"We arrived at unit XXXXA at 7:40 p.m. and were finally able to enter an hour later. Vacasa had sent me 10 emails before our arrival, all with the wrong unit number (XXXXA) and incorrect check-in instructions. It was dark and raining, and after spending about 15 minutes trying to get in, I called Vacasa. It took 10 minutes to reach an operator and another 10 minutes for the property manager to call me back. To make matters worse, the instructions directed us to a unit two doors to the left...

"Property is newly built and very neat and clean. It's walking distance from the ferry terminal. There is a common area with kitchen that includes oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher etc. The only thing that's missing is air conditioner in the room. There was a portable fan. It gets very hot in the room."

"The weather did not cooperate. Beautiful perch. Lighting a bit dim. Basically a large room w a loft and a great deck. With rain we were confined and could not fully appreciate an amazing view. It does sleep 3 but one adult needs to be up and 8 ft latter w minimal privacy. Host was helpful."

"This was a beautiful property for our Thanksgiving getaway. The cottage is small, but comfortable. Amazing views to the water through the Madrona trees. Truly, it was just right."

"Our construction crew stayed at the house while working on a street project. They enjoyed the hot tub, board games and all the other stuff available. Plenty of hot water, towels and blankets! Enough room for everyone to have their own space."

"We enjoyed how close the property was to everything. We ended up walking most of the weekend. Only negative was that the upstairs was fairly loud so we could hear people walking above us during the night. Besides that no issues. "
