"Our quick weekend away was more than just a trip - we were creating memories with our senior dog whom we’ve had since a pup. It was always a desire to take him away on vacation with us, but as days/months/years flew by, that never happened. So when he turned 13 we created a bucket list to celebrate the joy he has brought to us all these years. Searching for a home away from home needed to meet our standards- scenic property, woodland atmosphere, quiet surroundings, cozy indoor space and a hot tub (for the humans). This home HAD IT ALL!!!! We pulled up to outdoor patio lighting lining our path, walked in to 30’s jazz music playing thru the retro speaker, battery powered candles flickering cozy lighting and the most colorful art and decor! We felt like we were back to a simpler time and felt compelled to push our technology aside to fully enjoy the space. This home is in a perfect location- 35 minutes away from Bushkill Falls and 3 minutes away from Mountainview Vineyard (highly reccomend both). But if you want to just stay out, Big Al’s Cabin will make you feel right at home. We can not wait to visit again and are so grateful for the memories created with our senior pup! "
