"Was so quiet we could not believe it . And there was a full moon . Good to get away from it all Staff delightful . Slow internet so enjoy the peacefulness. Great breakfast! Had a shower head malfunction but we fixed ourselves. Would have liked a few more signs on road to get there. Not all rooms have kitchen or Cabnets . Need to let owner know if can’t do stairs .( 4 people master in loft with attic stairs )"

Their colleagues are very friendly and very professional when comes to explaining the wine to us. Will definitely try to go there again."

"We really enjoyed our stay with Ingrid and Helmut. They truly care about the guests who stay with them. Ingrid took extra time to find times for local tours we were interested in and looked up and printed out the details for our train out of town. As other reviewers have noted, breakfast is fantastic and the room was comfortable. We would definitely stay with them again if we were in the area."

"Das Doppelhaus ist etwas versteckt mit herrlichen Ausblick in den Wald. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und der Garten mit Terrassen sehr schön gestaltet. Es ist alles was man braucht vorhanden, von Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Geschirrtücher, sogar etwas Brennholz bis zu Gewürzen war alles da. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr angenehm. Wir haben das Häuschen gleich wieder gemietet und freuen uns auf einen weiteren Aufenthalt."

"This house has EVERYTHING you could ever need and more! The accommodation is spacious and immaculately clean. We are a family of 5 adults, a 12 year old and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all. The garden is totally enclosed and private with a hot tub, undercover seating areas and uncovered areas too. A bbq. A games room with pool table, table football, darts and loads of other board games. "Large place with separate bedrooms, large living room and well stocked kitchen. Our family of four was comfortable during our two night stay. We had good communication via email with the property. The view of the vineyards was amazing with small view of the river from our lower unit. It is on a big hill so a bit of schlep into the small commercial district and driving a stick was tricky, but parking was easy. Place was clean and stocked with the minimum, but one bathroom sink didn't work and...

Lovely Welcome

"The hotel is in a great location and the car park is close by. The lady on the desk when we checked in we think was the owner. She was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was a typical German wooden panelled room which was delightful the staff made us feel welcome and the breakfast was excellent. "
