"Firstly it is not clear that a "standard"room has the bathroom outside but it is Expedia's fault. However, 24hr reception is not correct, had to wait 15 minutes on the phone and no one answered so had to call another property of the group to gain access. The external bathroom was very cold, the room adjacent to common area with very noisy vending machines so I did not sleep a wink. In the room no light switch near the bed, the bedside lamps present but there was no socket to use them with....

"We booked here because it is extremely close to the Trieste Airport. The owners are wonderful and charming. They were lovely and provided an early morning ride to the airport. "This property is in a little town in Northern Italy that we chose so we could get to Trieste, Venice, Croatia and Slovenia all is less than one hour driving. The accommodations were so authentic and very well appointed. We loved the small village, the restaurants there as well as the winery. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Italy. We all loved the home and the people that ran it. Such a beautiful and safe environment. "
