Classy and good value but noisy
this is a fine upscale hotel at a reasonable price. It's a little bit small but it's a classy place both in the lobby and also in the rooms which are very nicely decorated in a modern style. They even have the New York Times and other magazines in the lobby for reading.
The problem that I had with this hotel though was that it is not well constructed. You can hear all kinds of things in the room next-door to room above and even the stairway 20 m away. And as it happened they were people going up and down the stairs all night it was a guy pacing all night above it was a guy coughing and spitting in the next room at three in the morning. Consequently I got a terrible night of sleep despiteeverything else which was very nice.
I would also mention that the location is pretty good it's about two blocks away from the train station and only takes about 10 minutes to walk down the main boulevard so it's actually pretty easy to find and it's in a great place. It's only about eight or 10 minute walk to the cathedral also.
