The cottage is located only 200 yards from the sand and shingle beach of Drummond Bay, with stunning views over the expanse of Luce Bay. The clear waters in this area are home to porpoise, dolphin, seals, otters and on occasion minke whale can also be spotted.
Drummore is home to the RSPB Mull of Galloway nature reserve where thousands of seabirds nest on the cliff face during the spring and summer. Close by is the village of Portpatrick with its pretty harbour and also the town of Stranraer with shops and restaurants. Cairnryan is just a short drive away where day trips can be taken to Ireland.
