"This is a great hotel considering the room tariff I paid for my three nights stay at Magic Hotel. The hotel location is one of the best and just across the fish market. The staff are also great. Though I booked their least priced room but the front desk upgraded me to the harbor view room. The room was really big and the bathroom was also good size. The bathroom was very clean. The bed and linen all private of very good quality. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning and they have 24 hours free coffee and tea in the reception and also a restaurant in the hotel. There is no wardrobe or phone or iron in the room. But overall I was very happy that I booked this hotel. "

"Love the historic hotel and view of the lake. The bar tender was very accommodating to help us with dinner in the lounge. The only negative was a pushy drunk that was roaming around interrupting us."

"It was a good location. About a 2 minute walking distance from the hotel to get to the tour guide pick up locations. About a 5 to 10 minute walk to the light rail train which can take you to the airport and other tourist spots. A lot of restaurants and shops also within walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable. "

"Great reception service on that shift. Pleasant and cheerful and helpful. A little hard to find but good location to the harbor front sites.Walkable distance to the Hurtigruten cruise terminal but a challenge with heavy luggage."

"Scandic Neptun is perfectly located—an easy walk to the harbor, Bryggen, and lots of great food and beer spots. The breakfast was excellent with a big variety and fresh options. Our room faced the inner courtyard, so no view—just other rooms across—but it was quiet and comfortable. Overall, a solid base for exploring Bergen!"
