"I can only speak for the room we stayed in (room 2), and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Additional cost cost on arrival for parking (about 15 euro per day - which I think is a lot). The host was not very flexible with payments and we had to leave to go and get the money before getting access to the room. The room smelled horrendously of mould and damp. We felt sick being in there and even with the windows wide open the smell was horrible. The room was freezing (colder than outside)...

Parking a little difficult to find at first but very convenient once familiar with the surroundings. Definitely recommend!!! "Check-in representative was very rude at our arrival, because we did not bring cash to pay for breakfast and pet fee. According to expedia reservation breakfast was included. Place is old, urgently needs refurbishment. We were told several times that we got a very low price from expedia, it seemed she was expecting us to pay the difference. Long story short, never again. We better pay more. "

"We had the best stay here. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We were able to walk right into town and through the castle grounds from the property. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the main town and walked through the Christmas markets. In the morning we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast cooked by the staff. We will be back. We very much enjoyed our stay. "
