"The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking a river and fields with balcony seating, perfect for the time we stayed there as we had lovely sunny weather. The only criticism was that the fan in the bathroom wasn’t working and the hairdryer also stopped working however these have been reported and were being looked into. We paid extra for breakfast which we enjoyed but the coffee wasn’t very nice at all and is served out of metal jugs. A coffee machine would be better which most hotels now use when it is a self-service set up."

"Room was a lovely size. Staff very helpful particularly with my disabled son. Was just a little warm in the room, but the staff did provide a fan which helped."

"Had a 1 night stay here for work purposes. Hotel was really nice & clean throughout with friendly staff from arrival to check out. The room i stayed in was a good size with a large ensuite bathroom, coffee machine & pods & a good sized comfy bed. I didnt eat in the hotel so cant comment on the food but it did smell nice however i did have a drink in the lounge area which was again a nice comfortable place to sit & relax. Would happily stay here again should i be in the area again either for work or pleasure."

"We had a big party staying here for a family wedding nearby. I don’t usually do these reviews but the Elveden was just outstanding. The place is lovely with nice rooms and a great lounge, bar and restaurant, but it was the staff who made this special. Friendly, competent and endlessly helpful dealing with our group, including arranging two large dinners at short notice. Strongly recommended!"
