This traditional chalet is ideally located just off Mountain Rd about 4 mi. from town center and 4 mi. from Stowe Mountain Resort just short distance on Edson Hill Rd across from Stowehof, south facing with beautiful view of sunrise. So close to ski resort, you can drive back to house for lunch if you like!
Drive up a private road to a home situated on the hill. Two fire places and a outdoor hot tub will relax any one after a long day on the slopes. Close to the rec path and recently landscaped backyard will make this home enjoyable any season of the year. From our backdoor you can access the Catamount X-C Ski Trail and Wiessner Woods across the road.

Great Weekend in Stowe

Family Birthday Trip
We had a great weekend at this home celebrating a 40th birthday member of a family member. The home was very clean and well stocked. I would recommend this property based on its location.

Great Stowe Ski Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at Jamie’s house in Stowe. The location is perfect off of one of the most picturesque roads in Stowe. The house was a great fit for our annual trip. Plenty of room for our group to spread out and an awesome backyard. We made good use of the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed some quality time in the hot tub. Check-in process was super easy and communication was great. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, this place was perfect for our stay. We celebrated my parents 50th Anniversary and everything about this place was what we wanted. Each family had their own space in the house and there was ample seating and room for the 10 of us to gather and soak in the air of Stowe! Thanks for a great time!

Family Ski Trip
This is a wonderful house that will give you the true Vermont experience. My family along with my brothers family stayed here and it was truly memorable. The owner was great and always responsive to any questions we had. Definitely recommend this house and hope to stay there again.

Amazing Cozy Prime location to Everything in Stowe
The Chabot Haus was an absolute pleasure. It was clean, & cozy. It’s minutes away from local restaurants and from the ski resort. The finishing touches in the house like welcoming guests with Vermont syrup and decor were a plus!! We will definitely return to continue making memories!!

This house is PERFECT! It is incredibly well stocked and the atmosphere is unreal. Jamie was a great host and was very responsive. We had an amazing weekend celebrating at this cabin!

Perfect Home!
We traveled to Vermont to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from UVM and this home was the perfect spot. The hosts literally thought of everything guests might need and provided it. From a thoughtful welcome package to serving platters to folding tables to a ping pong table. They thought of it all! The house was spotless and the communication with the host when we had questions was super fast. Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Stowe area!

Comfortable Getaway in the Woods
The house is well located for all winter activities and touring in the Stowe area. It is well equipped and stocked with everything a group or family needs. The fireplaces and multiple family rooms were very nice and cozy for our group. 1st floor layout works well for ski equipment storage. We enjoyed our stay and working with Jamie was a total pleasure!

Perfect Ski House
We stayed for a long weekend in January to ski. The location was super close to the mountain and all the restaurants and shops. Ideal location. The house itself was simply perfect. We had to 2 families and it was laid out so everyone had their private space. The house is very clean, private, well stocked with towels/kitchen items, and a picturesque backyard with hot tub! I would recommend this house and I will definitely be staying again.

Amazing house in the perfect location for exploring the Stowe area by car, bike or foot.
This was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway to enjoy fall in VT. The property is awesome. The outdoor area has a really nice backyard with large patio, grill, fireplace and large hot tub. The layout of the house is great, super clean, and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We used the house as a launching point for hiking right from the driveway, biking the Stowe bike path, and touring the area by car. We will certainly be back again!

Family Gathering
The house worked great for our family gathering, which had multiple generations and several young children. Jamie was a terrific host and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, even providing a pack 'n play that saved us from needing to travel with one. Finding the hard ciders, maple syrup, and other welcoming touches upon our arrival were a special treat! The location worked well with good proximity to nearby hikes, the rec path and West Branch Little River, mountain bike trails, and restaurants and shops in Stowe.

Great house, great stay
Great stay for our group’s business retreat. Nice open space. Very comfortable and clean. Great hot tub. Jamie was very communicative throughout. FYI- The driveway is steep, narrow, and has ditches on both sides. In cold snowy weather it’s icy and very easy to slip off, even with AWD.

Girlfriends college reunion
The space was perfect for us 7 women with beds for all. We had room to sit and laugh and share and puzzle and enjoy. Some thought it got a little stuffy because they couldn’t open windows downstairs, but that’s what happens when one’s comfort range is only 10 degrees. Overall we loved the space and privacy and great kitchen.

Wonderful home in Stowe
Having stayed at my fair share of terrible vacation rentals my expectations were tempered but this place was truly wonderful. You can tell it is someones home rather than just a commercial property as everything was exceptionally well stocked and there was corn hole and ping pong and games galore. The hot tub worked perfectly and we never had any issue with the house with the exception that it did heat quickly due to all the windows so you had open them up to cool it down. It is relatively private and maybe 5 mins from downtown Stowe so really a perfect location. I highly reccomend this place.

Perfect Stay
This house was perfect for a ski weekend in Stowe! It's super close to the mountain, about a 10 minute drive. It's well appointed, had everything that we could have needed throughout our stay. The house was clean, beds were comfy and the hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a day on the mountain. One thing to note - take the AWD seriously! The driveway is steep and you absolutely will not be able to get up in the winter without having a AWD vehicle. Otherwise, the house was perfect and I highly recommend!

Going the extra mile
We stayed at Jamie's property with our 9 month old infant. We were traveling by plane and could not bring our pack and play or high chair. We asked if they had any of these items at the house and they did not. However, Jamie ordered both items to be delivered to the house just prior to our arrival. Amazing and so appreciated.
