Our Mountain Treehouse Chalet is perfectly located on Luce Hill Rd between Trapp's Family Lodge and the upper Stowe village--minutes from fabulous restaurants, trails, and the farmer’s market. Newly renovated, this expansive treehouse-like deck draws you to outdoor living surrounded by woods, and when the new propane fireplace beacons you inside, the massive windows let you soak in nature.

Looking to relax in the woods and skip the traffic and hotel hustlel? We are in a prime location—just 5-10 minutes to the Stowe Mountain resort, Main Village, or the Trapp Family Lodge or Cady Hill. The property is centrally located to skiing (XC and downhill), world class hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and dozens of fabulous restaurants.

Stowe Spring Skiing
This is easily one of the best vrbo rental experiences we have had. Ryan, the owner, is very communicative and immediately helpful if anything is needed at all. The house is fantastic and exactly as advertised. It's clean, updated, adorable, fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, the beds are super comfy, AppleTVs make it so nice to be able to keep watching our show/movies, and all the lighting around the house is beautiful and relaxing. You couldn't ask for a better location either. It's super close to restaurants, The Alchemist, Stowe Cider, Trapp's Lodge, and Stowe Mountain; but yet still very private. If/when we ever come back to Stowe, we would stay here in a heartbeat.

Perfect home
We had a lovely stay in the treehouse! We stayed for several days in February to ski, both nordic and alpine. The home was PERFECT - spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and a kitchen with all the amenities. After every day of skiing we loved to have the warm fireplace as well as the very generous entry that easily handled all of our snow gear. The homeowner was immediately available with answers to any questions. We would absolutely stay again whenever in Stowe. Location is minutes away from the mountain, closer even to the nordic center at Trapp, and just minutes from downtown yet looking out the windows you feel as though you are in a snowy private woods. EXCELLENT.

Another amazing stay!
This was the third time that we have rented this property and it never ceases to be wonderful - and get better. It always has had a great location. 12 minutes from Spruce Peak, 5 from Trapp. Super convenient to Mountain Road businesses and entertainment, without the hassle of getting around the 100-108 junction. But now it has a Wolf range! And a huge deck! With a new door to connect indoor and outdoor ... and the big trees right by the deck. It seemed like it had always been there, but no - it's new. The house is perfect for families, with a well-defined upstairs and downstairs, both fully equipped with entertainment, bathroom, etc. The master suite feels like a tree-house, with all of the windows. We never really lowered the blinds ... very private with trees all around. The house was very clean and well stocked. Coffee - but also supplies for cooking, spices, etc. And snowshoes. There was no excuse for our pre-teens: look - it's there. We must. Ryan was an excellent host: communicative, detailed, and even made sure that the plow person had us in mind with our early morning departure during the storm. Thank you! We will be back.

Great Stay & Perfect Location
It was a wonderful weekend of winter activities and this property was the perfect size for my family. The host communicated everything well and the place was very clean and tidy. As a foodie, we loved cooking with the Wolf stove and fully equipped kitchen (all-clad and more!) We LOVED having access to his snow shoes and the 5 min drive to the Trapp Family Lodge for XC skiing and snowshoe trails. Easy access to Stowe Mountain and all the amazing shops and restaurants downtown as well. This property is in the perfect location for anyone looking to take advantage of multiple activities in Stowe. The location is AMAZING and I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this property again!

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Town
We loved it so much we came back! We first stayed at the Mtn Chalet Treehouse during August of 2023, and then again most recently during the week following Christmas, to include New Year’s Eve. The property was very well equipped. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out inside and outside, especially w the huge deck—and great storage for all our ski gear. The snow plow came early and dropped sand/salt so it made getting to the ski area easy in the morning as we chased fresh tracks. The property was within easy driving distance of many local activities and sights. 10 min or less to everywhere. Communication with Ryan was great. We communicated via text and phone. He was attentive to our needs and answered our questions quickly. We really enjoyed our stay on the property and would highly recommend it to others visiting the area at any time of the year. We’ll be back!
