"As a woman traveling solo on business, I felt very safe staying in Winston-Salem at this B&B. The Alspaugh King Room is gorgeous. It is thoughtfully appointed and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is just incredible, with a claw-foot tub and a large shower. They even gave me complimentary wine and pretzels at check-in. Three restaurants were just a short walk away, too. I loved every minute of staying here - it was incredibly relaxing after a long day of travel. "

Our flight from DC kept getting delayed and we didn’t get to the bed and breakfast until 2am, but the owners kept in contact and made sure we were able to get in and settled. "My daughter and I stayed at Summit Street Inn for a weekend of college touring and getting to know Winston Salem. This inn is beautiful and clean, conveniently located at the “end” of downtown. We felt safe and walked to dinner and other outings. The home is well maintained with a mix of old (original creeky floors) and new (bathrooms) and lovely gardens! We will be back!"
