"Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service from Rebecca. Views are gorgeous from the restaurant, hotel rooms with sea view, outside raised terrace and nice sun loungers at road level. Very nice spa pool area with jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. We used the treatment room at the town centre Harbour Hotel for massage & facials because we booked the stay last minute so no availability at the Beach Club. Recommend booking restaurant times & spa treatments ahead. The last few miles of roads into South Sands are narrow and need a bit of negotiating! Would happily return another time. "

"Had a one night stay at the Imperial, staff were excellent and struck the right balance of attentiveness. Room had a fantastic view, was spacey and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, my wife has a dairy intolerance and they catered for this, at not time did they make it feel like it was an inconvenience. It was a lovely one night stay, relaxing and would happily return."

"Salcombe Harbour Hotel certainly didn’t disappoint. Having stayed in Harbour Hotels before we knew it would be good but it really was exceptional. The service from start to finish was superb, the room not overly big but incredibly comfortable and the balcony with seating and a sunbed (plus lucky to have some nice English weather during our visit) made the room with the stunning view just perfect. We had breakfast in bed two mornings, and each day it was brought absolutely on time and piping hot, with excellent quality sausages, bacon and eggs. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and in the. Ar on our second, having decided to stay within the hotel the second night rather than eat locally because it would have been difficult to have beaten the food and service. The bar food was again exceptional, and even on a Friday night without a booking, there was no difficulty getting seated, served and it was fantastic. Overall we couldn’t have been happier with the stay. Particular mention needs to go to Jason and the team in the restaurant whose service was practically the best we have ever had. We will definitely be back. "
