"A lovely stay. Roast dinner and breakfast the following morning were delicious. The suite we stayed in was large, nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Easy to find and lots of parking Staff member Nathan and the lady who served us breakfast were both lovely. The cons - the hot water tank run out after my husband had a shower. We had to wait 45 minutes for it to heat up again. For the age/type of building this isn’t a problem but it would be good to give guests the heads up online...

"The room looked ok but on closer inspection not so good! Bathroom had mould in the tile grout in the shower and the remaining bathroom was bare plaster. The toilet seat was not attached properly. The bathroom had some sort of sewage maceration system that would go off every hour throughout the night! Nobody knew how the tv worked!! Four remotes for 1 tv!! "As far as the stay I honestly couldn’t fault it my bed was super comfy I stayed in the queen suite with shared bathroom it was spotless and warm too Helen had the radiators on and an electric blanket in the bed which was much welcomed as I stayed mid- January. If you do stay in this room just switch the blanket on and wait an hour you might not be able to feel it to the touch but once you get into bed you’ll feel it. There was plenty of tea & coffee plus nice little touches like water chocolate...

"My partner and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The pod it's self is tidy, clean, small kitchenette with microwave and toaster, also there is a breakfast hamper, the fridge is stocked with the basics. The pod opens out onto a beautifully kept Japanese garden with Koi pond. Ian and Caz are great hosts and are at the end of a text or call if there are any problems. There is also a hot tub available which just topped off this amazing little retreat. Myself and Darren will definately be coming back....
