"We stayed at La Cucina after Christmas. The villa is in a picturesque olive orchard and the grounds were lovely. Giuseppe was very flexible with our early check-in and showed us all the features in the house. We were lucky to have sunny weather, and we enjoyed the outdoor ping pong table. Traveling with children, we appreciated the washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable and the rooms warm and comfortable. We had a drainage problem with one of the showers and Giuseppe had someone in to clean the drain within 30 min. We purchased the Easy Package, and waking up to the delicious smells of baking and coffee was one of my favorite things. Breakfast and all meals were plentiful, restaurant quality and delicious, and Carla made a few adjustments for the one vegan in our group of 18. We also all enjoyed our pizza and tira misu lesson. Carla packed the leftovers from breakfast and meals in the fridge for us. It was a pleasure to use the spacious kitchen to reheat the food.The kindness of Giuseppe, Carla, and all the staff would be another reason I would return. "

Well stocked kitchen. We fell in love with Poggio Mirteto town. We had lovely walks, visited hill towns . Enjoyed Marmore falls and Narni in particular.. Easy access to train station in 20 minutes. Umberto on hand next door if there is a problem. Bliss...."

"This is a beautiful property. The buildings and surrounding countryside. The outdoor amenities are terrific with a large pool and a jetted smaller pool (cold water). The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was small and utilitarian and the bed was too hard for our liking. We are dinner and breakfast there and both meals were good (especially the cooked breakfast). The only downside of the property is that it is aging and in need of updating and maintenance. We still enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a relaxing away from the crowd getaway. "
