"We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at this beautiful cabin on Lake Eufala. It was amazingly clean and perfectly supplied for everything you might need. The free kayaks were a great addition and we really enjoyed our time on the lake. Your properties on Lake Eufala are very nice and private, and I highly recommend them all to anyone who wants to just get away from it all for a few days. We really had a great time. "The Pros: This is a brand new trailer that's very nice, it has a great porch, fire pit, lake view and small pond to fish in. There's also a swing, baby pack-n-play and pretty much everything you could need. We even had some deer walk right past us one evening. The Cons: The exterior isn't kept up to the same standards the interior is. Spent a half hour cleaning the front porch before we could use it. The grass is very tall and there's a lot of old junk sitting and three partially collapsed old...

"This was perfect. The location to our family reunion at Pickens Lake campground was so easy for us. Having our dog with us was a big part of the goal for our stay. The only hotel I would consider does not allow dogs and the security of us at The Shady Rest gave me peace of mind. Our hosts were gracious and friendly.
