"This was THE perfect spot for one last hurrah/downtime before the school year and sports pick back up. It was remote and quiet with cover water access and kayaks. Everything in the kitchen works beautifully and their is plenty of beds and space to spread out. We really enjoyed our stay"

The location at the north end of the lake is a convenient launching point for area attractions. Couldn't really use the spare sitting room as a bedroom, but fortunately we didn't need it. Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive. "

"My family and I spent one night at this cute lake house. The house is fantastic—new, very clean, and well-equipped with toiletries, snacks, coffee, and creamers, plenty of towels, blankets, and games. The WiFi connection was reliable, contributing to an enjoyable stay. We had a great time overall despite very cold and windy weather. The communication with the owner was excellent, especially when we had questions about entering and locking the house on our way out."

"Beautiful spacious property in the remote hills of Virginia provided a great backdrop and respite for our family gathering. Everything from the dishes, outdoor space and decor were well thought out. We had difficulty with checkin as no one was available and the code didn’t work but otherwise our stay was fantastic. Definitely will stay here again when we are back in the area. Close enough to downtown Culpeper to enjoy all it has to offer as well. Thank you for hosting so well."

"Amazing property with lots of charm. House is attractive with the open wood beam structure. Location is nice right next to the marine. Cleanliness of house was very good however the balconies and dock need serious cleaning as both could not be used as they were covered with dirt and insects. Video cameras are a bit much as they are directly over prime areas like the deck and balcony which make it hard to relax or have conversations in private.
