Black Bear Lodge @ MiddleCreek

This beautiful House sits just 1 mile outside of Hopeland in the small neighborhood of Clay. It features a Big front yard, as well as a deck with Big Back Yard, 3 bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, a Semi Stocked Kitchen, (Kitchen, Dining, and Living Room) is open area, with a office/den area to the side of Dining area. Bedroom # 1 has attached bathroom with a Whirlpool, and shower. Bath # 2 has Tub with shower, and is also where the washer & dryer is located. . Entire house and grounds is accessible to our guests except for the garage, and basement. An accessible and open floor plan is great for larger groups as well as small!

- Quiet Hours 11pm to 7am

- Eat food only in kitchen area

- No shoes in the house

- No Parties or Events without Prior Approval

- No illegal or Immoral Activities

- Children are welcome but "MUST" be supervised at all times. This not a child proof home. Supervision REQUIRED at ALL TIMES, You will be responsible for all damage and the safety of your children.

- Please Leave House as Found: Dishes Washed and all items put back in their place. Just leave the beds without making them.

- No additional overnight guests without prior approval.

- No pets on the property without prior approval and no pets in the house.
- If Smoking, Must be outside, and butts placed in receptacle on deck.

ACCESS IS BY KEYPAD ON FRONT DOOR. Approximately 1 day before your stay, I will send you the access code, and instructions on how to access the house.

We enjoyed our time at the house with many bears 😊 It was staged well and had plenty to offer. Thanks for the MnM’s, beverages and all! The jacuzzi in the master bath is great! We really enjoyed our stay.

Great house and location
Lovely home , nicely decorated, nice outdoor space. Beds were comfortable, good water pressure and spacious. We did have one to four cats that visted everyday, sometimes scratching at door to get in so of you have puppers to bring be aware there are kitties. Location was close to the Wolf sanctuary, a must visit for the nightime full moon visit. Some road noise in evening on back deck but wasnt terrible. Would love to stay here again next time in PA.

4 quilters. Lots of space to work on projects. No need for tv. Loved having easy access to kitchen for snack while working on our projects. Second time staying there and will definitely book again for future quilt shows.

Very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Big rooms and the decor was wonderful. We will tell all our friends & family. We enjoyed our time there. Close to Sight and Sound theater. We enjoyed the Amish garden & a van ride to a working farm.

Spring Quilt Trip 2024
Three quilters came for the quilt show and do a little (alot?) shopping. Location was convenient to the show and our favorite shops. Lots of room for us to spread out and play with fabric and patterns. Will definitely keep on the list for future quilt trips.

Great place!
The perfect place to wind down after a wedding weekend. The property is extremely clean, updated, and has everything you need. The fenced in back yard and deck are fantastic, especially if you have children. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint and its easy to find. There are no TVs here, but we did not miss them at all. We took advantage of spending quality time together. You wont regret renting this property!

The perfect Vrbo
When we pulled into the driveway we noticed how well the yard was maintained. It was very beautiful and inviting. We went inside and we were instantly blown away by the cleanliness and neatness of this beautiful place. Not a speck of dirt on the floor and everything was in its place all neat and tidy. We were impressed that there weren’t any televisions in the house as well. We personally don’t watch TV but it was nice to see that the focus of this place was to unplug from the chaos and to relax and get away. The most impressive part of this Vrbo was that it was relatively stocked with everything to get you started. This was to date the best Vrbo we have ever stayed at and we will definitely return to this beautiful place thanks for the wonderful experience.
