"This cabin was exactly what we wanted. Nestled inside the Hiawatha National Forest on the shores of beautiful Thunder Lake! The drive in is gorgeous!! We saw deer, turkeys, a couple rabbits and something we guessed was a weasel. The cabin was so comfortable, furnished with absolutely everything you’d need for a full week of fun! "We arrived and were thrilled with the location. The house was immaculate and the grounds were great. The seven of us had a wonderful time just relaxing. We had a nice campfire the first night and some of us went kayaking later in our stay. A great time was had by our group and we would not hesitate to return. If you're looking for a secluded getaway, look no further. "

"I can’t say enough nice things about our stay at Camp Thunderbuck! We especially appreciated being able to use the fishing boat, kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boat. The lake is shallow in front of the house and perfect for the kids to play in that crystal clear water. The house was clean and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Fishing was good for panfish. We also caught several small pike and one pretty nice one. We would definitely stay here again. "
