"We stayed here the evening before a morning flight out of Frankfurt airport. While it is completely walkable from the hotel to the airport, it was a cold (and somewhat miserable) 15 minute walk from Terminal 2. There is a bus which shortens the walk somewhat (61), and there is a bus X17 which has a stop right in the Gardens area where the hotel is, but we couldn't figure out the bus schedule for it. "It’s a nice enough airport hotel. But beware when you count on the airport shuttle. The shuttle is too small. You may not make it in, coming or going. Returning to the airport they called us a taxi. Going to the hotel a lot of people didn’t fit in and had to wait or pay for taxi. It’s really not good. And another problem: there are several nh hotels with different shuttles. "This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. If I had to pick at anything it would be that it was hard to get a cup of coffee in the lobby area in the morning. They looked to have an amazing breakfast but no complimentary coffee for patrons. I did manage to talk the staff into buying 3 coffees for myself and my friends. The cost was $25.97 for 3 coffees. "

"I stay at this hotel frequently when passing through Frankfurt Airport on business. The design is fresh, youthful and stylish. Staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is good. The welcome drink is a nice touch. It is a bit confusing to walk to this hotel (and basically all of the other ones around it) from the airport, but it is doable. Multiple taxis have always been waiting at the front door in the mornings to take people to the airport. "

"The Houseboat Villa Nautica is not for everyone. My wife and I are 70 and enjoy staying in unique accommodations such as the tented camps in Kenya. We are self-sufficient and are comfortable living out of our two carry-on bags.
