"We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. Highly recommended. "

"The property, the location and amenities were all perfect. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for a family of 4. Cosy and warm and log fire a nice addition as the heating is on a timer for when the temp does drop. However, a few things we were not happy with. - Check in time actually 5pm not 4pm as advertised on VRBO which is really late in our opinion. - Check out time actually 9am not 10am as advertised on VRBO which is really early especially as the guest is required to have a family of...

"Lovely, cosy welcoming cottage. So clean and well equipped - even things you donā€™t even know youā€™ll need are provided - all very well thought out. Fabulous location - you can easily drive places and thereā€™s a nice walk down to the beach and local pub. We have stayed at Colby Cottage three times now and I would recommend it to anyone. "

"Pouring down when we arrived but warm and welcoming inside. Tastefully decorated and well equipped but no shops in the village so take essentials with you. Ideally situated for the estuary and railway station to travel to either Carmarthen or Tenby. Lovely beaches in Llansteffan and Burry Port with Kidwelly all within easy reach."

"Lovely modern feel property in a perfect location to reach amazing places. Upon arrival we were pleased with the cottage, however the downstairs does feel rather cold and this was in August. The hot tub was lovely but did have a large amount of sand in there from previous guests. The wet room is a hazard as it is so slippery once used and as previous guests mentioned it does not dry up at all. When booking it said towels were included so I didnā€™t take any with me for a family of 4, the towels...

"The property was easy to use and well laid out except for the outside access to the shower room. Felt cozy to relax in and the kitchen was clean and well laid out. Storm Babet was raging outside but inside was unnafected. "

"Overall the property was spacious, for the most part clean and we enjoyed our stay. However, there were a number of things that needed attention with the shower being the main one. We have reported our issues to the management company in case they were not aware of them but have not had a reply as yet. "
