"This holiday house is cosy and has a sunny patio. Lots of birds. At night it is peaceful. We love to walk the paths around Scheldeoord, and to walk along the dijk and beach. We have stayed here twice now. and will return to be close to family in Zeeland."

"Es gibt keine kostenlosen Parkplätze, sondern nur öffentliche kostenlose Parkplätze. Die Unterkunft ist nicht sehr sauber. Man bekommt keine Antwort vom Besitzer. Es gibt auch kein 24 Stunden Front Desk. Als wir gebucht hatten, stand sogar noch dabei, dass man die ganze Unterkunft alleine zur Verfügung hat, das stimmt aber nicht, es ist nur ein Zimmer. Die Treppen sind sehr steil."

"Das Haus war im Untergeschoss in einem unmöglichen Zustand. Die Toiletten und das Bad sind wohl mindestens seit 20 Jahren nicht mehr saniert worden. Offensichtlich wurde die Schimmelbildung überstrichen. Meine Familie hat Allergien und hat auf diesen Zustand extrem reagiert. Mit Unterstützung der Verwaltung konnten wir das Haus wechseln gegen Mehrkosten. Nicht zu empfehlen!!!"

A fresh fruit/veg stand was a 3 min away. We were there during Gent Fest but we were able to still sleep through all the noise. 2 of the 3 rooms are away from the street, so we used those & it was quiet & we were able to sleep with no problems. "Insgesamt sehr positiv. Vor allem für kleine Kinder eine wunderbare Umgebung, um eine entspannte Zeit zu verbringen. Der angeschlossene Campingplatz inkl. Schwimmbad, Gastro, Tieren sowie Strandnähe sind dan VW überkbar für die Kleinen. Gewöhnungsbedürftig war die Kamera im Wohnbereich, die zwecks Einbruchschutz installiert worden ist. wenig Bigbrother-Feeling kam auf, auch wenn die freundliche Vermieterin versicherte es werde nichts aufgezeichnet."

The discription on the website did not explain that the dog was not allowed on the furnature, upstairs and left in the house on there own. Not until we arrived and we read a notice on the wall of the stairs was all the info regarding the rules for Dogs clear."
