"We booked this house for a women's retreat and could not have been happier with our stay. The house is beautiful and well functional with two kitchens and 4 bathrooms. With 18 women, no one was even waiting to shower etc. The firepit was lovely and provided us a great place for fellowship. The property managers were responsive and extremely helpful. They were proactive when it was discovered the wifi router was not working. We will definitely keep this at the top of our list for 2026 retreat. The entire experience from booking to our stay was exceptional. "

"A great location for what we were in Steelville for. If I had to make any negative comment, it would be the surrounding houses as you're driving in, that are in disrepair, but no reflection on this property. Luckily, you do not see them once you are at Viola's Cottage and only the beautiful grounds. "

"We rented this cabin to participate in the Colon Cancer Riding for a Reason side-by-side trailhead event at Bass River Resort, and despite the distance to/from the resort, we had a blast driving the backroads and exploring Steelville.This cabin has all of the comforts of home and was very relaxing at the end of the day, after bouncing around in the side-by-side all day. It has convenient access in/out, and I was able to turn my 16’ trailer around fairly easily in the cut-de-sac. The hosts were also very responsive to communicate with. Would definitely rent from here again!"
