"We particularly enjoyed the spectacular views. Beds were comfy. Found the decor a bit overdone. Lighting was hard to figure out (especially since we were directed to keep outside lighting at a minimum.) Master toilet didn't work (sent message to property manager). One bedroom on mid-level did not have a bathroom access (found that to be a little strange) and not represented in information about the house. Hot water not working in one of the kitchen sinks and took forever to get hot in the other...

"We had a wonderful time at the Harvest Moon. Good location for a mountain getaway. The house is decorated nicely and is cozy. Basement is a plus with the pool table, air hockey and hot tub. The owners were easy to reach and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I hope to go again one day!"

"I enjoyed the home, however unfortunately I could not give a full five star review for this property due to cleanliness. House seemed unkept, not cleaned or checked prior to stay. Stove and oven not clean (setting off smoke detector upon use); Floors not vacuumed, food on kitchen floor; All surfaces dusty; Windows inside dirty; Several light bulbs burnt out. "

"We all loved the home. We were so comfortable and enjoyed all of the upgrades throughout the house. It was perfect for our gathering, and we hated to leave. The host was remarkably responsive, and went out of his way to ensure that we had a pleasant stay."

"We live locally but had friends and family coming to town for my birthday so we rented Riley’s retreat. Our weekend was filled with visits to all the food and beverages on 151. I loved the fun amenities at the house ( hot tub, pool table, games, etc). My initial investigation I didn’t realize we we so far up Wintergreen but in the end it did not matter and was a perfect house for the weekend ! Thank you !!"

"The communication was excellent before and during the stay - they checked in and followed up with us. The property had everything we needed for a great weekend. A quick 2 minute drive to the Wintergreen restaurants and small store. "

"The property was overall nice with minor issues. It had a funky smell upon entering, most likely due to moisture and several outlets were not working. Access to the property was very difficult for my mother with mobility issues since it went down wooden stairs that were slippery after the rain. The third bedroom is a loft with no privacy (door or enclosed walls) and due to the vaulted ceiling adults can’t comfortably be up there. "

"Great house with plenty of room and amenities for all ages. Comfortablly fit 7 adults and 5 children. Awesome lounge spaces inside and out. Even decide to extend our stay. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend."

"My wife Teresa and I have been staying here for 11 years now. Every year for the last eleven years we have stayed the last week of Oct. The view is incredible. It never gets old. Something else that is very important to my wife and I is that the foyer door is only about 15 feet from the parking lot and its a flat walkway. "We were in town to attend a Washington and Lee football game . This rental was perfect. The charm, decor and well stocked kitchen made the rental a solid 10. The location, parking, dog friendly atmosphere ,comfy bed, and vintage decor made it hard to check out. We will be back!"

"I stayed here for one night. The reviews were good and it certainly matched the reviews. The person at the desk was courteous and professional, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast was decent. It met all my expectations and the price was very reasonable. Food was available across the street at Cracker Barrel and the interstate was a few hundred yards further. "
