"The cottage is wonderful in how eclectic it is. There are definitely several additions on the house, giving it lots of nooks to explore. It is a peaceful place to rejuvenate in, close to Yarmouth and other locations to vist. It was fun watching both the tide and the fog come and go. Had everything we needed for a four day stay. "

"Ruthanne and Sheridan were wonderful host. They were kind enough to meet us at the ferry and drive us to their home. The house was warm and comfortable, and we felt like we were at home. "Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. We were greeted upon arrival, the owner/host went out of his way to accommodate us and we were treated very kindly throughout the entire stay. "Clean and new, uncluttered rooms with all the necessities, comfy beds, easy access 24/7 tea and coffee (although no coffee makers in rooms but there is a mini fridge). Hot showers, great water pressure. No safes in room but property feels secure. Modest breakfast options but certainly fine if you're more a continental breakfast type. And it's included in room rate. Free wifi, easy parking, well-lit. Pool and fitness centre. The lobby can get a little noisy with the table games that are set off to one side. Friendly and accommodating staff. Overall, I'd give it a 9/10."
