A few moments required communication with the hosts and they were extremely prompt and also followed up to make sure everything was taken care of. "My wife and I booked this spot to celebrate our our anniversary and go to cranberry festival. Worth it! The host was so accommodating and very thorough on expectations of leaving the cabin as you found it. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet little spot. Absolutely lovely. The bar and grill near by is a neat spot as well. "

"We appreciated the quiet of no-wake lakes and the use of the 14’ boat. The bass fishermen had moderate luck - all largemouth. The 2-cabin arrangement wasn’t ideal - we would have preferred a single place with 2 bathrooms rather than being separated ok. The smaller cabin wasn’t as clean and wasn’t stocked with bath towels.."

"Last minute fall break stay for family (2 adults / 3 teens). House is better even then pictures online. Clean, well stocked, and amazing setting that can only be really appreciated in person. Great hiking trails in area. Eagle River is a cute town with great downtown pubs/shops. Lake is a great relaxing site and having the kayaks/paddle boat available was great. Would absolutely stay again!"

"The overall experience was good. The view from the deck is outstanding. The only issue we had was when using the oven it smoked up the cottage. The amenities were great. On our first night it was cold and the furnace warmed it right up. We would return to the Loon Lodge."

"We enjoyed our stay here and would return. Were granted early check in but had already planned our trip around the 4pm check-in time so we weren't able to take advantage of that. Very sandy and shallow but I was able to get my Ranger 619 to the dock and secure it without getting in the water. Enough room to maneuver in the driveway with the boat trailer on. Great swimming area for kids, nice firepit, everything you'd need in the house including heat which unfortunately we ended up using...

"I am disappointed by this rental process. I’ve enjoyed prior rentals that are Hosted by the Owner...as in the vrBO title. Vacasa is a management company, and they unfortunately knew nothing about the property except what was described on the site, and some of that was inaccurate. They couldn’t tell me what levels the bedrooms and bathrooms were on, or if any had en-suite bathrooms. They are not prompt responding to messaging, if they respond at all. Hours on the phone didn’t get me help or...
