This is the newest shipping container cabin on my property in Red River Gorge! I've taken a shipping container with character and made a really unique and comfortable place to stay while you visit Red River Gorge. The cabin sits on the side of a hill with a spectacular view across the valley to the cliff line on the other side. While it is secluded, it is easy to get to. The road is paved all the way to the driveway of the cabin, which is flat and easy accessible. The cabin is completely climate controlled (Air Conditioning and Heat), has Dish Network TV, Hughesnet WIFI, and city water. The outside of the shipping container was left as it was while being in use. All of the dents and dings give it the character that I wanted. The inside is completely modern. It has maple walls, barn metal ceiling, hardwood flooring, designer cabinets and a 50 inch flat screen TV. The full bathroom has a spacious shower, toilet, vanity, and washer/dryer. Enjoy the outside by sitting by the stainless steel fire pit or soaking in the hot tub while watching the cliff line be illuminated by the setting sun. Wake up to the sunrise through the trees and the birds chirping in the woods. Go on a hike in Red River Gorge and come back to the cabin and relax in the hot tub. All linens, towels, wash rags, toilet paper, and soap is provided. This cabin is the perfect place for two people to enjoy and be super close to Red River Gorge. It’s only ten minutes to Natural Bridge State Park, La Cabana Mexican Restaurant, Miguel’s Pizza, and the NADA Tunnel! Toad’s BARn and Grill is new and is only thee miles from the cabin.

There is a lockbox at the front door with the key in it. You will receive a code a couple days before your stay.

Everything about this place is perfect!
Perfect size for two people, beautiful view, quiet and peaceful, super clean (like brand new), hot tub was fantastic, easy to find using the great directions from the host, close to everywhere you’d want to explore plus great restaurants nearby. We were so at peace we didn’t want to leave! Hats off to the host this place is a gem, we left feeling relaxed and happy exactly what we needed!

Stayed 2 nights here for our 30th anniversary. First time to the Red River Gorge area. This little cabin (it's actually a shipping container which is unique) is perfect for two people. Everything you would need is thoughtfully included. Very clean and modern interior with a rustic exterior. The hot tub and fire pit are perfect after a long day of hiking. The stars at night were stunning. Amanda is a wonderful and accommodating host/owner. We cannot wait to come back and stay here. It will probably be when it's a little bit warmer outside, but the lack of crowds made up for that.

The stay at the container den is everything you could ask for. Very clean and well kept with an all the necessities for a weekend getaway. It is in a perfect location with an amazing view from the hot tub.
