The management did not accept responsibility for the heat not working on our last night. We woke up and the cabin was 38 degrees. She said, sorry you did not know how to turn up the heat... The nerve... And yes, I know how to work a thermostat!!

We enjoyed that we was close to the hiking trails and sites. The area had a lot to explore and the drive to get to places was not far. People were nice and welcoming. It would be a tough climb to get to the cabin without an SUV or Truck but we enjoyed our stay. It was secluded and relaxing.
The property was as listed. Hot tub was really nice. We has an amazing time. The road up to the property was a bit scary but besides that it was all amazing. Would stay again.
We loved the cabin. It was very clean, cute, and cozy! The bed was really comfortable and Leslie and Mike were so nice! We will definitely be renting from them now on!
Had a nice time. Great place for a three day weekend
Could use some updating and tlc. Wasnt a issue but there was only enough seat place for 3 people to watch tv.
All in all it was fine and we enjoyed our stay.
The cabin is great and secluded which is what I was looking for. The driveway is true terrible and you definitely don't want to try it with anything less than 4x4. The hot tub was very relaxing and wifi very spotty at times. We enjoyed our stay but it wasn't perfect. The cabin is loaded with ants, it has mice inside and hornet nests all around the outside. The door knob is falling off, the front door is cracked, puts and pans are in bad shape. The chair and loveseat are very worn but the beds are very comfy. All in all it was a good experience and a great area to visit.
This was a very enjoyable location and experience. We enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. There were a couple things that were not necessarily included. These things included the tub in the bedroom (not able to fill up without getting cold due to water pressure) and the fireplace (which was broken and was replaced by a non working electric heater). This was not too much of an issue for us, but it would have been nice to know these things were unavailable to us as they were listed as available on the listing. Overall it was a nice stay and we appreciate the opportunity to get away and enjoy the cozy cabin and the wonderful hot tub!
Staying at this property for 5 days we had an overall great experience. Reading previous reviews there were alot of similar complaints and I would like to share my opinion. The "intense driveway requiring a 4x4 vehicle" is not bad at all if you have decent driving skills. We drove a front wheel drive Mercedes Benz sedan up and down all week no problem. The neighbors do have a dog that barks frequently but nothing that a bluetooth speaker couldn't fix right away. Yes there were some ants and hornets but you're vacationing in their day to day home so honestly what do you expect. Again we had a wonderful experience and I highly suggest this cabin for anyone on the fence.

Years of dust and soot
We rented this cabin over Thanksgiving to enjoy hiking and some quiet. We are ok with "lived in" and clean , but the inches of dust on the appliances and furniture was shocking to us! The fireplace had black soot that covered the entire face of the fireplace. It looked like the a fire had exploded from the fireplace and burnt the front 6 feet up the wall! We were close to hiking in the Red River Gorge which was great, however, their was construction on the property and constant barking dogs from the neighbors property. Contacted the property manager and was told "we will let the cleaning crew know" with nothing to address the concern during our stay. We do not recommend this property!!!
We had our annual girls hiking weekend here. Great location to get to trails.
It was not easy to find especially because we came in at night. The directions to get to the house could be a lot more detailed so you don’t end up at the neighbor’s property.
They had ample amount of towels and kitchen items. The hot tub was clean which was nice!
Grill was charcoal and we didn’t not know that ahead of time.
Have WiFi but never put how to log in to their connection. We were hoping for this so we could check trails prior to heading out.
Listed way less per night than it comes out to be after fees. Ended up being a couple hundred more a night in fees.
As others have stated the driveway is rough. Luckily we had a truck but if you don’t have FWD I’m not sure how you could get there. Also not sure what people can do if they have more than one vehicle. There was a huge washout near the top top that just made the loose gravel drive that much worse.
We loved this property! We had so much fun hiking around the cabin. Management was friendly and quick to respond on getting the WiFi working. Highly recommend this cabin if you like secluded and relaxing. Great proximity to all the big trailhead and of course nada tunnel! Husband and I will definitely be renting again!
This cabin was perfect for us. Clean, not hard to find, nice hot tub. Private. A bigger couch would have been nice but that’s a minor issue.

Horrible driveway
This cabin was extremely hard to find and navigate up the very steep driveway. Plenty of ants and spiders. The trash can was still full. Smaller than I expected, I don’t think I would choose this again for our family ( of 3) vacation. And the dishwasher did not work, it had been disconnected.
We had a wonderful weekend at Wanderland. Everything was great. Finding the place was rough because there are no signs and you have to go up a very steep road that looks more
like a creek bed. Our minivan made it, but it was rough.
It's a very peaceful setting and conveniently located as far as hiking trails in the RRG.
