This cottage is part of Gangvide farm's cottage facility by the river Närsån and accommodate 6 people. The beds is divided into two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room, which also has a TV. The kitchen has a freezer compartment and no oven but is equipped with a dishwasher. There is a bathroom with WC and shower. You have your own barbecue on your terrace with accompanying table and chairs for a wonderful barbecue dinner in the evening sun with a view of the river Närsån.
Unique with Gangvide farm is the focus on sustainability. The cottages are, for example, operated solely by self-produced electricity via solar panels, have water saving as a priority and invest heavily in new and innovative energy savings. Their work is so extensive that they have become Green Key certified, something only about 160 other hotels and hostels are in Sweden.

Things to see and do on Gotland
In the yard where the cottages are located, a variety of activities are offered for all ages! There are many animals here, such as ducks, geese, chickens and rabbits that you can feed and cuddle with. There are also horses for pony riding. Other activities offered are canoeing, renting a moped and bicycle or go on a tractor ride. Nearby there are also opportunities for golf, swimming and fishing. Grocery store is within 2 km distance. For warmer days, a tip is to go to the sandy beach Herta (Hörta in Gotlandic) which is suitable for children with its shallow water. A recommendation is to go on a day trip to Visby - a historically important and beautiful city to Sweden. Other sights well worth a visit include the lighthouse Närsholmen, Holmhällars raukområde and Stavgard Vikingagård.
