What a great place to stay for a large group of people! We stayed here the night of our wedding and it was perfect. Beautiful view and the house was plenty big for the 16 of us. Car parking was tight but additional parking was provided just a few houses down.
This property was a great place for our group to stay at. The house was beautiful with lots of space. The communication with the owner was easy and quick response when asking question. We would stay here again.
The house was clean and well equipped for our group! Our hosts were friendly and quick to respond to our messages. We golfed at Purple Hawk Country Club and really appreciated the proximity to that. Thanks again guys!
The home was beautiful and big for our family gathering. We were a not aware of the shoreline not easy access for the children. The kitchen was very big for but was not equipped with just the basic utensils, and pots and pans as my family likes to cook meals.
Had a great week with our extended family!! House was large enough for us to spread out but could also get together at meals. We were there to attend a wedding at the Creekside Farm Wedding Venue. It was closer than getting hotel rooms a half hour away.
Communication with host was great! Awesome time. Not much yard since the house is on a steep lot but young kids had fun fishing off the dock and playing around the house!
Thank you!!
This rental has it all - large common areas, a beautiful chef's kitchen, many bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a beautiful view of the lake and all of the things that anyone would possibly need for a great day on the water. There were some unexpected things that came up during our stay, but the property manager was quick to help and had great communication to get it sorted out. While parking was a challenge, we were able to fit 9 cars (mostly all wheel drive) on the property. It was a great place for gathering a large group of people. We would highly recommend this rental!
This property fit our very family well! The 3 king bedrooms was a plus for us as we had 3 married couples and one single adult.
New property. Front landscaping not finished yet with tall grass and the backyard tall lawn was not mowed. Hopefully the lawn gets finished up to keep the mosquitoes from having a lovely home in the tall grass:) As mentioned previously in other reviews the driveway is very steep my little car bottomed out as we drove it in the garage. Hopefully they add a flat area in front of the house 's front door for parking as not everyone has all wheel drive crossovers and pickups. It would quite easy to add a culvert and parking in front. It was a lovely property and we would definitely stay here again. :) The House contact person/manager was very helpful and a pleasure to work with.
We came to Minnesota from Texas to visit extended family. This was the perfect space for eight adults and two children. It is a beautiful home with lots of room with an ideal location on the lake. We rented a boat and JetSki, which was great to keep at the dock for a few days.
I had some concerns that I expressed before our visit, and the owner was very responsive. Not only did they purchase extra kitchen supplies for us, but they even reimbursed us for items that we purchased and left behind.
We were expecting the dock to be in bad shape, based on some reviews, but it was not a problem at all. It’s very safe. We enjoyed the fire pit, the grill, corn hole and all amenities. We did have a hard time cooling the upstairs off. Downstairs was fine. The only other thing was the metal bunkbeds. They are definitely made for children, not adults. The adults that slept on them had a hard time because they made so much noise every time someone turned over.
Overall, it was a fantastic getaway. We would definitely come again!

Beautiful lake, good location, property leaves a lot to be desired.
Our group stayed this last weekend, and although the location is great, and the lake is beautiful. The house left a lot out that we have received at different properties. The ice machine didn’t work, no one let us know about that ahead of time, the cleanliesss is lacking, there are dead bugs everywhere. On the walls, ceilings, windows, inside, outside. The dock is unstable and honestly unsafe, I wouldn’t ever feel comfortable with kids on it, be prepared for only 6 adults to sleep comfortably as the bunk beds are very rickety and the squeak with any sort of movement. The sewage tank was also full, with water sitting on the top which had a terrible smell. One of the most inconvenient parts was the “driveway” if you can call it that. It is incredibly short and steep. Our group would not stay here again unfortunately.

Things to look out for.
This is a beautiful home with a great view of the lake. Our family had a great time here being together. Enjoyed using the golf cart and kayaks. However there are some things to be aware of. The driveway is a very big challenge. It is very steep and short. The kitchen is lacking in some things. There is only silverware for six people. There are no dish cloths or dish towels. There is a lack of drinking glasses. Be prepared to bring these items with you. The stove hood was very greasy and had bugs on it. As for bathrooms if you use washcloths bring them with you as they are short on these.
The window sills were covered in bugs. We were not able to open the kitchen windows as the screens were full of bugs and cobwebs.
There was mold in the bathroom off of the bunk rooms. The windows sills in the bunk rooms were also covered with bugs. I would think that you could clean these off before your renters come.
The gas grill was very dirty and we were not able to use it as the burners did not work properly.
This is beautiful property. The owners are very responsive.
The property is very beautiful. The sunrise is breathtaking. We had 15 people and we were very comfortable. All the bedrooms have a bathroom. The bathrooms are very nice. The pictures are true to what you see. Our stay at the property was just what we needed as a family. Although we had to do some self cleaning of the counter tops and the refrigerator- it was communicated to the owner and they did apologize. With Covid, I would have did my own wipe down anyway.
The access to the lake is awesome- we had a bonfire and the kids had ample space to play. The neighbors next door were very friendly. The pontoon was available but the weather did not permit. There is a fee to use it- so check with the owner. We were able to have a cookout on the gas’s grill and a nice patio table and couches made outside very relaxing. The only downfall of this property is the driveway- that is like going up the side of a mountain with gravel. You can only fit 5 cars. There is no street parking. It was hard to do with my Front-wheel drive vehicle. The 4 wheel or all wheel drives were easy to go up. I wish they would have paved tat drive to make it easy to get up. There is garage access for 2 cars and the bonus was a 4 wheeler that we could use at no charge. They do provide clean towels and linens, but you may want to bring your own blanket because I am not sure how often they are cleaned.
The kitchen was stocked with nice size pots for cooking large meals, we did bring some of our own for our special dishes. The do have plates for the kids to use which was nice. The kitchen is very large with enough space for all you food if you want to do buffet style. The fireplace in the living room was nice and there was also one in one of the bedrooms. They also have an abundance of toys for the kids to play with. We enjoyed the family room- there is only 1 large TV, but who wants tv on vacation. The WiFi is awesome. Our overall stay was amazing and I do recommend this property for your family.

Beautiful house…..but….
Beautiful house with lots of amenities and a great view. The house needs some maintenance done. Towel bars loose, wall/ceiling damage, and the LVP floors are in terrible shape with sharp broken edges in dozens of places. The steep driveway is terrible. I tried various approach angles and every time my front air dam scraped on entry and exited, on a AWDSUV.
The house is infested with bugs. It is disgusting to see. Dead and live bugs all over the floor in all the rooms. Thousands of black flies in the great room on the ceiling. Owner moved us to a different smaller property but would NOT answer any texts about issues at the smaller property. Very disappointed.
The house was the perfect size for what we needed. The bathrooms and bedrooms were the only clean part of the home. The living room and kitchen were extremely dirty. We bought cleaning supplies and wiped down walls and ledges. The drawers and cupboards were full of crumbs and stuff was just thrown in them. We had to clean out a drawer to keep our utensils and items we brought because we did not want to use any of the items there. The Keuring was full of grime. The ice maker had black mold in the back. We were told it didn’t work. Someone turned it on and it worked fine minus all of the black mold growing in it. We were not a fan of the doorbells notifying us we were being recorded every time we walked out front or out back. Had to use a leaf blower to clean off patio and steps. Absolutely filthy. There were juice pouches on ground. A tipped over garbage in the egress window. The garage was a mess. Garbage on ground. Shoes, junk everywhere. It’s a shame. The house is gorgeous. Need some new cleaners or need to check on the property once in awhile. Definitely not worth the money spent per night.
We had a great stay! The house was beautiful and the location was great. Previous reviewers had mentioned issues with bugs, but it wasn’t an issue for our group. Yes there were some ladybugs in the house, but it’s on a lake by woods so that’s to be expected. The kitchen was beautiful, and the space worked great for our group. We would absolutely come back again!
This is a very spacious GORGEOUS house, tons of huge windows, beautiful lake view. The kitchen is large & there are lots of bathrooms, which is great. We had a wonderful time, the kids loved the Lilly pad & swam around the dock, and caught fish right from there also! Couple hints: Bring a couple extra blankets if you are using the bunk beds, there was only a sheet on those, and I didn’t find any linens in the closets, but the king beds had a nice comforter / duvet on it. Watch the temperature during the day, with the sun shining in those nice big windows, it can get hot in there, we adjusted the thermostat down during the day, but with such a large house it can take a while to cool down, but we were comfortable at night, when it counts. Love this place!
Although the property is stunning there are little quirks that's aren't great. The stove does not heat up evenly for pancakes and the driveway is very very steep. It was so cold the garage door wouldn't open. The owner did his best to fix everything right away! Beds and bathroom was comfortable!
This is a great property for a big family. The set up of the home is great, essentially three master bedrooms/bathrooms, as well as two bedrooms set up with bunk beds to sleep multiple people with a shared bathroom there as well. The outdoor area is set up nicely with a dining table, patio furniture, as well as a fire pit down by the lake. The views are fantastic! The kitchen is huge with a massive island, perfect for multiple people to prep for meals as well as seating all along one side. It is gorgeous.
The property manager was available, with a fast response time to any questions and concerns. There was warning of the driveway situation, so we knew what to expect when we arrived. All in all, this is a nice property for a large group.
House is incredible, perfect for family trips or family reunions! Beautiful view from the living room and the option to rent the pontoon was icing on the cake. Throughly enjoyed our stay, will be back!
We had a great time at our stay. Beautiful property. Awesome pontoon to rent. Lots of space for people to rest and play. Fun yard games. All issues were resolved quickly by owner. We recommend!
The property checked a lot of boxes for our group of 12, which is hard to find in a lake front property! There was definitely enough common room and kitchen space. The two rooms of 2 sets of bunk beds each had trundles under each set, which we pulled out to sleep on cause adults have no business climbing anything after some white claws! Grumpy minnow was great!
A couple things for future guests: bring your own paper towels or kitchen towels as there are none. Also, if you’re staying more than one night and have more than 4-6 adults, bring extra toilet paper. There are a few rolls in each bathroom but no other stock. No grass yard, so no need to bring extra yard games.
