Perfect place to stay
What a lovely place. Rooms small but adequate stayed for 2 nights in the morning woke up to beautiful views plus llamas sheep and goats in the field, let me just say no noise from them. Food was amazing and staff friendly. Definitely worth a visit. I shall certainly stay there again.
100% from me
Fantastic place to stay food fantastic so was stafe and service .rooms maybe a wee bit to warm .also our room was right above a generator but it did settle latter in the night .didnt like the step at the bathroom quite dangerous .alarge mirror in the bathroom would have been Lovley putting all that a side i will be back and i will be recommending it to freinds .
In the general the stay was good, staff very friendly and helpful. They do need to sort out the breakfast - the service is very slow. 30 minutes for eggs on toast and I was the only one in
Welcoming n friendly manager n staff. No bother manager had same interest in cars as us. Petrolhead. Room was charming with views of lamas. Recommended
we stayed for two nights - the location was ideal for what we needed and the room was immaculate. considering we were staying above a bar we experienced no noise problems. there are some very cute llamas in a field nearby and all of the rooms are named after them, which was a nice touch. however, we did experience a few issues unfortunately. there was a really bright green light on the ceiling near the door - supposedly for fire safety or if there’s a power cut etc - i’ve never experienced this inside a hotel room before in my life - it was like sleeping with the lights on (impossible). this was definitely a big thumbs down unfortunately. my partner and I both had a vegetarian breakfast on one of the mornings and it was very affordable, but it just wasn’t good unfortunately - the hash browns were stone cold (as if they’d been in a fridge and not been heated correctly, not just gone cold because of slow eating), I had a poached egg and it was like a hard boiled egg, not runny at all. they had also completely run out of orange juice (it was due to come in on a delivery once we’d had breakfast). these little things are very easy to get right so it begs the question (when the place wasn’t overly busy) why they weren’t done well. couldn’t fault the staff - they were nice and friendly and we only ended up paying for one of the breakfasts as a result. also, it would have been a nice touch to have some complimentary biscuits in the room, which, at £100 / night you’d almost expect.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Nice hotel, shame about the walk to Weston Hall
It is a warm , clean , comfortable hotel , albeit rather expensive for the sizeof the room.
The main problem is that there were no taxis available to Weston Hall and the walk was at the side of a busy road in the complete dark .
The breakfast was faultless but we paid the full price for full englsh , it was not a supplement .

It was a nice hotel. Easy walk to the town. Suitable for the drive to Stonehenge. Slightly outdated but clean
Lovely hotel room in a beautiful area. The staff were really friendly, the only slightly negative comment would be that there isnt a separate area to check in so you have to queue at the main bar - this wouldn't bother me too much except they are a very bar, with table service outside so on a few occasions I was waiting a fairly long time. BUT that being said, this didnt ruin my stay, the hotel is certainly somewhere i would recommend to people.
