"I loved my stay at Hostel Bad Goisern! The check-in/out process was easy and the staff even let me leave my bag before and after, which was so kind! Met some lovely people as well! If you’re planning on going to Hallstatt this is a great place to stay!"

"While the location and property itself is fine, it is in a high standard with artsy feel there is one major shortcoming. Apparently hotel has this weird “policy” whereby they assume guests do not want room cleaned (for staying more than one night) unless they inform the staff they wanted room cleaned or put a “sign” on the door saying you want room cleaned. The front desk agent was not sympathetic and did not understand how ridiculous the policy is. I’m surprised other guests did not mention...

"The hotel was a typical large hotel, with nice large rooms. Sadly all the carpets including hallways, are old and stained and our bedroom carpet was really dirty. Good central location. Easy walk to Train Station."

"Great hotel. Not many good restaurant options nearby but it was not an issue for us. The only negative in the hotel is the bathroom configuration, with glass doors and wide gaps around the doors both in the toilet and shower it offers little privacy. "

"A very nice hotel, stunning unspoilt views of the lake. Quick check in and check out with a personable service. My only negative was that for such a luxurious hotel, there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, this is such an out dated practice and definitely dampens the experience when you can’t make a drink to enjoy on your balcony. "

"This Hotel is just perfect. We stayed there during our European Vacation and had a really good time. The room was clean and had enough space for 2 adults and a Teenager. "Beautiful hotel in the center of Ebensee, with a lovely flowers at the balcony and a view to the lake. However, the church bells 🔔 were so noisy especially at 6 am in the morning that was very, very annoying.."

"I loved my stay (second time) at this beautiful and genteel property. It isn’t your fault but my neighbors were having extremely loud sex in the wee hours of the morning. I thought the woman was being murdered at first. It went on and on and on. Other than that everything was peaceful and serene. I think she was having a wonderful time. "Room was great. The price included breakfast which was good. The room came with a fridge which was very useful. The only downside to the hotel is that the walls of the room are not very soundproof so if you are a light sleeper the showers running in the adjacent room might wake you up"

"An excellent Villa, very clean and well looked after. The swimming pool was great, it has a deep part in the middle and is very shallow at one end which would suit paddling toddlers. We are a family of 7 and had loads of space in the Villa. The top floor bedroom can get very hot which wasn't a problem for us as only one of my children was sleeping in there. "This hotel is a hidden gem! I don't think you can get better conditions (swimming pool, saunas, steam room, lovely breakfast) and frendlier staff for the price. It's true that the furniture and decor are a little old-fashioned, but everything is sparkling clean, beds are comfortable, and rooms have huge balconies as well. I plan to come again, and again :) totally recommend! "

I would stay here again

"This was a very nice hotel with excellent staff. We were very impressed with the room as it was so large. There was a living area, small kitchen, dining area, separate bedroom and a very large balcony. The only bad issue was we could not charge our hybrid car as hotel could not locate the card. I will definitely stay here again!"

"The staff is very professional and friendly. The breakfast is amazing. If I get a chance to come back to visit my family again, this will be the hotel I will choose. The mall, restaurants, and grocery stores are within 3 minutes of walking. The only thing I wish they had is a refrigerator, other then that I have no complaints."
