We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a unique setting. Glen was very accommodating for our check in & out needs. Great location & central to everything we wanted to do & see. Definitely would come back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in "The Church"! It is a beautiful piece of history. Glen was wonderful! We are already looking forward to our next visit!
My teen daughters and I had a wonderful stay. The property is absolutely charming, a true Hudson Valley gem. Neighboring towns, hiking trails, farms are a perfect getaway place and reprieve from NYC bustle.
The cricket and frog chirps at dusk an absolute bonus :)
Staying in this 19th-century former church was very special, and its location was perfect for visiting historical sites and Hudson Valey's small towns. Our host was very welcoming and provided great info about interesting local spots.
We loved our stay at the church. It was very unique with a lot of antiques and an interesting lay out. Glen was very helpful and recommended a very good restaurant. We toured the area and enjoyed the Culinary Institute of America! We also walked the Walkway over the Hudson in 93 degree heat but it was all worth it and wonderful that the church had AC! Will be back again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful and cozy, and suited our needs perfectly. We traveled with 2 dogs and they were right at home. It’s a great location, not far from many amenities and notable places. We’ll be back when we’re in town!
We booked the Chapel for a quick weekend to check out the FDR Home and other sights around Hyde Park and Dutchess County. The place was perfect for our needs! Glen was very helpful and communication was excellent. We loved that the property has chickens and a wild turkey.
A fascinating old church that has been converted into a guest house, with a super considerate host. Only one bedroom has privacy, but it's a fun place to stay and close to everything!
The host Glenn goes out of his way to do everything to ensure that you have an excellent stay. The building is stunning and well worth a stay. I would strongly recommend this to all travelers!
Comfortable and accommodating. We stayed for the NY Sheep and Wool festival weekend. Arrival was easy and pre-check was perfect. Super cute property with farm to table amenities. Would stay again.
I was in town to visit family for the holidays. The accommodations were cozy, very welcoming (especially the chickens), and lovingly decorated for the holidays. Communication was excellent, sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group of 4, and kitchen well appointed to for making meals at home. Highly recommend.
This was such a great place to stay. It was a great place for the kids to explore, the dogs to run around, and the adults to relax! The owner was so friendly. This old church had so many interesting and unique items! We loved it!!
We loved the unique, lofty space! The church was charming and had everything we needed--including some local treats like fresh eggs (from chickens on the property), honey, and maple syrup. We enjoyed hiking around Hyde Park and spent a nice evening in Rhinebeck.
